Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #368

Hello
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week!  How's the Christmas preparations coming along?  I think I'm done.  That being said, I'll probably discover in a few days that I wasn't as ready as I thought I was!   I'm getting over a bad cold that my youngest decided to share with me.  So far everyone else has stayed healthy so we're hoping that remains the case!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of our designer down under, Narelle Farrugia!  Narelle creates gorgeous card often with intricately cut, beautiful flowers.  Be sure to check out her blog!

It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do for this card but I remembered I had some of the galvanized metal cardstock and an embossing folder that I had yet to try out!  Once I decided to use the galvanized metal, I knew that black, white and grey would work perfectly!

I don't really know where the scraps of DSP came from.  They were just sitting in a pile and worked really well together!  They are from SU though and they're probably retired!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Galvanized Metal, Silver Glimmer
DSP: SU retired
Stamps: LJD Birthday Greetings (MFT)
Ink: Black Stazon
Other: Tin Tile Embossing Folder, Oval Dies (Spellbinders), Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #366

Hello Everyone!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  How's that Christmas shopping coming along?!  I'm happy to report that our tree is still standing.  Sprite has removed a few decorations.  She actually removes them with her teeth and then carries them around like she's a dog. She's more intrigued with my banana leaf nativity scene than the tree though.  I'm pretty sure one of the wisemen is going to bite the dust.  She has also knocked over a nutcracker.  And here I thought the Elf on the Shelf was naughty.

Okay, we have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the incredibly talented Cecile Ribon!  Cecile's cards are beautiful and always contain the most amazing die cuts and elements!  Please head over to her blog and check them out!

Okay so I'm a little behind on the Christmas cards.  Actually, I don't know if that's true or not.  I have to get everything ready tomorrow.  I'm almost done.  I have to admit that not everyone on my Christmas card list gets a handmade card anymore.  Don't get me wrong, I'd love to send handmade cards to everyone but I just can't.  It's not possible anymore.

Anyhow, I saw the tree on Cecile's sketch and knew that my Festival of Trees stamp from Stampin' Up would work perfectly.  I actually had to make this card rather quickly so I embossed a tree with silver embossing powder (I couldn't get a great picture) and put it all together.  That subtle texture embossing folder may be one of my new favourite toys! I threw on some sequins and called it a day!

We have some exciting news this week as well!!!  Our Freshly Made Sketches Team is doing a Design Team Call!!!  We would love for you to join our team!!!  We have a few prerequisites  (not many at all) so head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check those out - and you can check out the Design Team's gorgeous cards in the process as well!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  We can't wait to see what you come up with this week!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #365

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  Hope you're having a great week so far!  How's the Christmas decorating coming along at your house?  We have our tree up.  That's it.  It doesn't have lights on it and it's not decorated.  We decided we should probably do the tree in stages so that our "kitten" Sprite gets used to it since it's her first Christmas.  She doesn't seem concerned with the tree yet which is good but I fear she will try and eat the lights and my decorations may be history.  I guess we'll soon see!!!

We have a new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  I have the honour of being this week's hostess!  It's always fun being the hostess and coming up with a sketch.  We've had so many amazing cards in the gallery that it's often so hard to choose winners!  I'm super excited to see what you come up with!

Of course I'm still behind on my Christmas cards.  I'll probably never have them done.  Yes, I should start in January but I'm just never that motivated!

Anyhow, I hadn't intended to use this particular set for this card and actually started using a different set but this is what we ended up with.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Grey Granite
DSP: Festive Farmhouse
Stamps: Alpine Adventure
Ink: Smokey Slate, Cherry Cobbler
Other: Alpine Sports Thinlits, Clear Epoxy Drops, Subtle Texture Embossing Folder

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for you!  You will not be disappointed!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #363

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!   We're having a much better week here.  We had a very sick cat at our house last week.  She has a bacterial infection and she's now on some antibiotics that she does NOT enjoy at all.  She only has 3 doses left and then I hope she starts to perk up a bit.  It's been a tough go for her.  She's only 2 and she's the delight of Jacob's life so we're praying that within the next day or so she'll be back to being her normal self!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Kim Singdahlsen!  I absolutely love Kim's cards and love them so much that I made my Christmas list based on the stuff she uses to make her cards!!!  Die hard fan here!!!

I knew that I wanted to use my brand new Christmas Blessings Stamp set from Close to my Heart!  I just love it!  This is not the first card I made with this set.  I made a different one that planned on using for this week's challenge but then decided I wasn't quite sold on it and re-made it.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Gold Glimmer, Gold Foil
Stamps; Christmas Blessings (Close to my Heart)
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Circle Dies (Spellbinders), Bitty Banners Framelits, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the amazing cards the Design Team has create for your inspiration!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #363

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  We had our first dusting of snow yesterday.  I wasn't too impressed.  You see, though I've lived in Canada my whole life and have spent every single winter surrounded by cold and snow, I truly believe in my heart of hearts that I really am Hawaiian and need to spend my winters where it's a consistent and lovely temperature with relatively low humidity!!!!  My family totally disagrees with me though! Oh well....

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is one of our amazing leaders Jen Timko!  Jen makes gorgeous cards.  She is a colouring guru and an ink master!!  Please had over to her blog to check out her creations!

I kinda knew what I wanted to make when I started creating this card.  It just took me a really long time to get there.  I don't know why.  I kept getting distracted and trying different colours and different papers and finally this is what I settled on!  Very simple.  Very, very simple.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Kraft
Patterned Paper: Festive Farmhouse
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree,  Star of Night
Ink: Versamark
Other: White Embossing Powder, White Bakers Twine, Glass dots, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the girls have created as your inspiration!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches #361

Happy Wednesday and Happy Halloween!
I hope you're having a great week so far.  I'm fighting a nasty cold and will probably be the one staying in handing out candy tonight unless I feel better.  I don't often get sick but when I do I tend to be very grouchy!  The kids are excited about tonight.  Jacob is being the Black Panther and Caleb is being a giant hotdog.  Hilarious!  I'm hoping we get lots of kids so that I can get rid of all of that candy that I have!!  None left for me to eat!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Jen Mitchell!  Jen is the queen of elegant/clean and simple!  Her cards are gorgeous so head over to her blog and check it out!

Okay, so I definitely messed this sketch up!  I made this card a while ago and apparently was dreaming when I saw the sketch and then made my card.  I'm a little off.  I don't know what I was thinking!

My mom gave me Tropical Chic for my birthday and I just LOVE it!!  Such a fun set!  With this set you can totally make the most colourful cards!!  It's fantastic!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Tropical Chic
Ink: Basic Black, Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green
Other: Tropical Thinlits Dies, Subtle Textured Embossing Folder, Glitter Enamel Dots, Dimensionals

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #360

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week!  Can you believe next week is Halloween?  How on earth did October go whizzing by so quickly?  I think I blinked and it was gone.  I don't want to say it but I kinda think that Christmas is going to be here in no time!  That is one scary thought!!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Amy O'Neill!  Amy is our colour matching and accents queen!  She designs the most beautiful cards!  Head over to her blog to check out how amazing they are!

I kinda feel the same way about ovals as I do about circles!  They aren't exactly my favourite thing.  I really took liberties on this sketch!  I hope the team doesn't mind!  This card was an anniversary card for my husband and I had to make the lemons and stems work!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black
Stamps: Lemon Zest
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black
Other: Glitter Enamel Dots, Subtle Textured Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created!  You'll be inspired!

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  Can you believe we're over halfway through October?  Christmas is going to sneak up on us in no time at all!  I guess I should start doing some planning.  My kids keep changing their minds about what they want for Christmas.  Seriously.  They're going to drive me crazier than I already am!!!

We have a great new sketch tonight at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Narelle Farrugia!  Narelle is our resident Aussie and fantastic flower cutter!  Her cards are beyond beautiful!

I am pretty convinced that Karren and Narelle have it out for me with their sketches and circles!!!  Seriously!  I wasn't sure how to approach this and then I saw my old Ornament Keepsake stamp set I just knew those ornaments could be circles!!!  Another Christmas card done!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Ornament Keepsake,  Star of Light
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Ornament Dies, Stitched Rectangles (Lil Inkers) Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #358

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I'm super proud of myself for remembering to get this post done!  I seriously can't believe that I forgot the last two weeks in a row!  I'm getting in the groove around here so it's getting easier to remember things!  We're having some gorgeous weather here today and I totally don't want it to end.  It's been super humid but I don't mind - I know what's coming so I'll take a couple more days of this summer weather!

We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week courtesy of the amazing Karren Johnson.  Karren's our New Zealand demonstrator (who I totally want to visit) and she makes gorgeous cards.  She makes beautiful backgrounds and colours like a queen!  Check out her blog to be amazed!

So I'm pretty sure Karren tried to do me in with this sketch.  There are 4 circles on this sucker.  4.  I didn't quite know where to start.  Then I thought it reminded me of a wreath.  I started with a Christmas wreath and that went disastrously.  Did not turn out at all so I tried a heart with some flowers and that didn't work so this is where we ended up.  I'm totally happy with it and must say red and grey make my heart flutter a bit!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Grey, Cherry Cobbler
Stamps: Sweet Celebration (Lil' Inkers)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Black
Other: Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, Warm Welcome Dies (Lil' Inkers), Pretty Pines Thinlits, Black Rhinestons, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created.  You will totally be inspired!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #357

Hello!
Happy Thursday!  I'm a day late and I apologize!  I normally do my posts up on Tuesday but this week, Tuesday was a crazy day and I totally forgot.  It didn't even occur to me that I needed to do the post.  Then yesterday was insane too.  Just a lot of little extras that all happened the same week.  Thankfully next week is much quieter!!!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the amazing Cecile Ribon!  I love her diecuts and how modern and creative her cards are!  True French flare!

So I'm not entirely happy with  my card.  I had a vision but I couldn't make it work. I love the pineapple paper and I decided to throw a pineapple on there as well!  Who doesn't love a pineapple?! The best pineapple I've ever had was in Hawaii.  I will honestly never forget it.  I would love to go back sometime and feast on it!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight
DSP: Tutti-Frutti
Stamps: Pop-Art Pineapple (), Scripty Sayings (Lawn Fawn)
Ink: Soft Suede
Other: Weathered Embossing Folder (Taylored Expressions), Sequins, Pineapple Dies, Dimensionals

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #355

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  It's been a gorgeous week here so far.  The humidity is decreasing a little bit and I am soaking in the last days of summer.  Don't get me wrong, fall is my favourite season but I do love the warmth and simplicity of summer!  Flip flops, sunglasses and away you go!!!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Kim Singdahlsen!  Kim's cards are always so amazing!  She has the most incredible stamps, dies and colouring tools! I'm always excited to see what she's created!  Head over to her blog and check it out!

I loved Kim's sketch and since I was still in the Christmas card making spirit, I decided to give another one a whirl.  I used the now retired Festival of Trees for this card.  I just love this set and love that there's a punch to coordinate with them.  I opted for a black, white and red theme!  Not sure why but it just seemed to be what I liked that day!!  The one tree looked a little sad so I added some sequins to him!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Red Foil
Stamps: Festival of Trees
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Softly Falling TIEF, Tree punch, Sequins, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for you.  You won't be disappointed!!

CAS(E) This Sketch Wisemen

Hello!
Happy Sunday!   I hope you're having a great weekend!  Caleb is away at his second retreat this week.  I hope he's having a great time.  They've had fantastic weather - a bit warm but that's okay.  I think it's better warm than cold!  I'm sure he'll come home exhausted but happy!

I had some spare time yesterday and decided to play along with this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge!  I haven't really done other challenges in a very LONG time.  I really want to start allotting more time each week to be able to actually sit down and make cards and actually enjoy it!!!

I was inspired by Brian's card this week and decided to do my own little version.  I had to flip the sketch around a bit so that the star wasn't behind my wisemen!  I am slowly making a dent in my Christmas cards!  When I say slowly, I mean very, very slowly!!!  Thankfully Christmas is still three months away!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Silver glimmer
Stamps: Wisemen from Afar
Ink: Versamark Black
Other: Sequins, Bethlehem Edgelits, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Have a fantastic day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #354

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  I've been in a bit of a baking mood this week -  I think mainly because I'm procrastinating organizing and decluttering my house!  Oh well.  The kids and my husband aren't really complaining.  Yesterday we had homemade Pumpkin Spice Donuts.  I really think I need to try chocolate ones!!!

Anyhow, we have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of our resident comedian and storyteller Linda Callahan!  Linda also makes gorgeous cards so please head over to her blog to see what I mean!

As soon as I saw the sketch I knew that I wanted to make a fall card and use my dies from Concord & 9th!  I cut the stems off leaves 2 and 3 to get them the length that I wanted.  The sentiment really does ring true.  I love fall.  Don't get me wrong, I love summer - but I LOVE fall.  The temperature, the pretty colours and the pumpkins!  I LOVE pumpkins...oh, I'm getting off track again!

You'll notice that Linda and I created very similar cards - unintentionally but I'll say great minds think alike!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Copper Foil
Stamps: Give Thanks (Concord & 9th)
Ink: Early Espresso
Other: Copper Rhinestones, Layering Leaves Dies (Concord & 9th)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for you!  You will definitely be inspired!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #353

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week.  If your kids started school yesterday (like mine did), I hope they had a wonderful first day!  My boys had a good start.  They both like their teachers and look like they'll have challenging years...in a good way!

Speaking of challenges, we have a brand new challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Jen Mitchell!  Jen makes the most gorgeous cards and she is totally the queen of Clean and Simple - yet totally elegant!!! Head over to her blog to check her cards out!

So I have totally yet unintentionally veered from the sketch just a little as I may have gotten a tiny bit carried away with the flowers.  I couldn't help myself.  I truly love these flowers.  I know they're retired but they're my favourite and probably always will be!

Two friends of mine recently got engaged.  I am so excited for them so wanted to congratulate them with a card.  I figured this sketch would work perfectly...until of course I really changed it up!  One of these days the design team is totally going to disown me!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil
Stamps: Essential Sentiments (MFT)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Botanical Builders Framelits, Softly Falling TIEF, Dimensionals, gold pearls

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards that the Design Team has created!  You won't be disappointed!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #351

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week!  We are in our second last week of summer holidays and it makes me sad.  We've had a wonderful summer and I've enjoyed each part of it and I am so sad that it's soon over.  Yesterday was my youngest's 10th birthday!  I cannot believe my baby is 10!  Seems like it was just yesterday that he rushed into the world!  Time flies by too quickly!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is one of our amazing Texan design team members - Amy O'Neill!  Amy is our colour specialist!  She can combine any colour with a ton of different elements and make the card look spectacular!  Head over to her blog and check out her gorgeous cards!

As I'm posting this I realize that I put my sentiment in the wrong spot.  I don't know why I thought it was supposed to go on the banner!  I hope the girls don't fire me!!

I love the little flowers from the Beautiful Bouquet so I decided to use those for this card!  I opted to use Kraft paper as the background to keep everything neutral.  Of course I threw on some gold sequins!!!  Why not?!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Kraft, Whisper White
Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet,  Essential Sentiments
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Other: Bouquet Bunch Framelit Dies, White Embossing Powder, Gold Sequins, Dimensioanls

Thanks again for stopping by!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil
DSP: Tutti Frutti (Retired)
Stamps: LJD Birthday Greetings (MFT Stamps)
Ink: Versamark
Other: Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Sequins, Botanical Builders Framelits, Double Stitched Speech Bubbles 2 (Lil Inkers), Dimensionals

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week!  We are enjoying a great summer so far.  The boys are in a music camp this week.  They are both drummers and a group of kids learns 3-4 songs all week and then they have a concert on Friday night.  It's amazing how quickly they can learn the songs and how amazing they sound by Friday!  Caleb did it last year but this year both boys are doing it.  Thankfully they have two drum kits in the band!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing and super fun Linda Callahan.  Linda's cards are always thoughtful and often quite punny!  Head on over to her blog and check them out!

Linda's sketch has a LOT of circles on it.  Not just one, but there are three HUGE circles.  Okay, they're not huge but if you don't like circles they seem super big!  I decided I just didn't want to tackle circles and opted to go with triangles instead!!  I have some scrap paper left from camp and used some of the Tutti Frutti for the card!  I decided to go for a black, white and red scheme.  I really do love red!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red
DSP: Tutti Frutti
Stamps: Sentiment Essentials (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Dual Stitched Triangles (Lil Inkers), Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created to inspire you!

Have a fabulous day!!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #344

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope everyone is having a great start to their week!  We are right in the middle of camp week.  It's a crazy but fun week.  I must say I definitely don't feel as young as I used to!  We have 20 kids in the morning and 20 kids in the afternoon making cards or other projects with our group.  They do 4 projects each morning/afternoon so a total of 20 over the week.  My youngest is doing flag football and robotics and he's having a blast!  So many fun choices for the kids!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is our favourite French card maker, Cecile Ribon!  Cecile has the most amazing dies and I'm always so intrigued by how she uses them!  Head over to her blog to check them out!

So I really apologize of how crooked that triangle piece is at the top of the card.  Seriously.  It was in a hurry and had to pack for camp and this is what happened.  I'm ashamed.  Truly!  I had this paper sitting on my desk - left over from a camp project I was trying out.  I figured I would add in a little butterfly and bee!  I just love little bugs!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder
Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Dragonfly Dreams, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Other: Little Butterfly Punch, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Sequins, White Embossing Powder, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

We can't wait to see what you come up with this week!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #343

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  We're in the home stretch for school being finished here.  Finally.  The boys are done on Friday and they are super excited to be done.  They aren't doing too much at school these days but that's okay.  They're having fun and their teachers are still getting them to do things so everyone is happy!   We're also in the homestretch before camp.  Monday is the big day!  I'm excited and nervous!  I'm hoping that everything is ready to go!

We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazingly talented Jennifer Timko!  Jen's cards are just fabulous.  Her colouring and combinations always take my breath away!  She is one creative girl!  Head over to her blog to be wowed!

I needed a masculine birthday card for my father-in-law's upcoming birthday.  I don't have a lot of masculine stamps so I ended up choosing this one - So Very Special by Reverse Confetti.  I opted to use my new favourite colour combination - Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy
Stamps: So Very Special (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Night of Navy, Lemon Lime Twist
Other: Sequins, Simple Stripes Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created!  You will be inspired!

Have a fantastic day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #342

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  We are in school wind down mode which is finally nice.  Caleb had what we hope is his last test today.  I know the teacher is just trying to keep them busy and out of trouble but I think we're all pretty much done!!!  Just a week and a half to go!

We have a got a great new sketch for you at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Amy O'Neill!  She is our colour master and she can mix and match colours like no ones business.  She's also amazing with embellishments and getting thread to make these perfectly amazing circles!!!  It's a skill I don't possess!!  Head over to her blog and check it out!

I used this sketch to make a Father's Day card for my Dad.  I don't have a lot of masculine paper or stamps so I pulled out some of this Christmas paper from last year since it was about as masculine as I was getting.  I only have one Father's Day set and it's a retired one from SU.  I kinda thought the card needed something so I added in some arrows using the arrow punch!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black. Old Olive
DSP: Merry Little Christmas  (SU Retired)
Stamps: Best Dad Ever (SU Retired)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Arrow Punch, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created!  They are pretty spectacular!

We can't wait to see what you create this week!

Have a fabulous day!
