Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #351

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week!  We are in our second last week of summer holidays and it makes me sad.  We've had a wonderful summer and I've enjoyed each part of it and I am so sad that it's soon over.  Yesterday was my youngest's 10th birthday!  I cannot believe my baby is 10!  Seems like it was just yesterday that he rushed into the world!  Time flies by too quickly!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is one of our amazing Texan design team members - Amy O'Neill!  Amy is our colour specialist!  She can combine any colour with a ton of different elements and make the card look spectacular!  Head over to her blog and check out her gorgeous cards!

As I'm posting this I realize that I put my sentiment in the wrong spot.  I don't know why I thought it was supposed to go on the banner!  I hope the girls don't fire me!!

I love the little flowers from the Beautiful Bouquet so I decided to use those for this card!  I opted to use Kraft paper as the background to keep everything neutral.  Of course I threw on some gold sequins!!!  Why not?!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Kraft, Whisper White
Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet,  Essential Sentiments
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Other: Bouquet Bunch Framelit Dies, White Embossing Powder, Gold Sequins, Dimensioanls

Thanks again for stopping by!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

Have a fabulous week!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #350

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I'm so sorry that this post is late!  We were away at the beginning of the week and I totally forgot to write this post beforehand and schedule it to post!  Our family just spent a few days exploring Tobermory which is a beautiful town in Ontario!  The water is amazingly clear and there are even some cool shipwrecks you can see under the water!  It was nice to get away but it's always nice to get home too!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess is the amazing Narelle Farrugia!  Narelle is our amazing fussy cutter and flower stamper supreme!  Head on over to her blog to check out here beautiful cards!
I needed a birthday card for my dad and unfortunately masculine cards are not my specialty.  I had purchased this new embossing folder and stamp set from the little scrapbook store in my parents town.  Of course I love the Night of Navy/Lucky Limeade combination and I can't stop using it!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Lucky Limeade
DSP: Tutti Frutti (Retired)
Stamps: Essential Sentments (MFT)
Ink: Night of Navy
Other: Weathered Embossing Folder (Tailored Expressions), 2.5" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

Thanks again for stopping by!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #349

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  We're just coming off a long weekend in Canada and it's so nice to have a more chill week.  The boys are enjoying their week at home just hanging out and doing whatever.  Caleb has a new model (the USS Enterprise) that he's working on and Jake - well, he's Jake!  He always finds something to do - usually it involves doing flips into the pool!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazingly talented Karren Johnson.  Karren's cards always wow me!  She can colour like no one's business and she is the technique queen!  Head over to her blog to check it out!

I may have also had this piece of paper left over from camp.  Or at least sitting on my desk!  I love these melons.  I wish I had the lemon stamp set from SU but, I don't so I had to improvise!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Berry Burst, Peakaboo Peach
DSP: Tutti Frutti (Retired)
Stamps: You're So (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Sequins, You're So Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti)

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team have created for you!  You will definitely be inspired!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #348

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're all having a great week!  Can you believe it's August 1st already?  Where did July go!  I feel like we just started summer vacation and here we're already half way through our summer!  We are totally going to have to make the most of the next 4 weeks!

We have a brand new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  I am honoured to be this week's hostess!  I hope you'll find this week's sketch inspiring and you'll play along.  Please remember, you don't need to use squares!  You can use whatever shape you want!

I had some glitter paper sitting on my desk, left over from camp!  There is a lot of left over scraps from camp!  The squares needed a little something extra so I threw on some little flowers!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Glimmer
Stamps: Sentiment Essentials (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Postage Stamp Punch, Itty Bitty Accent Punch, Basic Rhinestones

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration.

Have a fabulous day!
