Mojo Monday 106

I'm going to try really hard every week to tackle the Mojo Monday challenge. It is sometimes more challenging just finding a few minutes during the day to "whip" up a card especially with two little boys! This week's sketch is great and I knew right away what I wanted to do. You can find the sketch at this website:(http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/)
Supplies:
Paper: Kraft, Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Bella Bleu DSP
Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Flowers, jewel centres, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Staple
Hope you enjoy the card! I challenge you to check out the Mojo Monday site and see if you can come up with your own creative card!

New French Cards

I received an early birthday present from my mom yesterday! She bought me the Stampin' Up! "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set in French (Voeux Mignons). Since we live in Québec I decided it was time that I got my hands on some French stamps so I can also do some cards "en Français". I've gotten a few started so we'll see how the next few go. I am going to try and make up some Christmas cards tonight and get them posted tomorrow. I love how versatile this stamp set is (in French and English)! If you're looking for a great set that works for pretty much every occasion this is it!

If you have any questions or know someone who might enjoy cards "en Français" please don't hesitate to let me know: ladybugdesigns1@gmail.com

Wonderful Favourites

I haven't been posting much lately and for that I apologize. Life is crazy with two little kids! I didn't realize when I took on this adventure how much time it would take and how busy I would be! It's a good thing and I'm glad I did it.

I purchased the Stampin' Up! "Wonderful Favourites" a while ago but only sat down to give them a try today. The stamp allows you to further personalize your cards adding in "sister, brother, mother, etc". I really enjoyed creating this card which is CASE'd from another demonstrator.
I hope you enjoy the card! I am going to try and do a few more over the next few weeks and get them posted!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Ink: Real Rust, Soft Suede
Stamps: Wonderful Favourites
Accessories: butterfly punch, soft suede grosgrain ribbon

New Stamps

I like getting fun things in the mail. I especially like it when a stamp order arrives! The stamps used on these cards are not from Stampin' Up! and due to some recent changes to Stampin' Up! policies I can't say where the stamps are from...however they are really, really fun! I love tea and I love tea pots. These stamps remind me of my girlfriend Ade and my mom! I'll be posting more new cards over the next few days (hopefully!) so keep checking in! The button bits stamps are super fun and there are some really cute ones I still need to try! Let's hope the kids cooperate over the next few days and give me a few minutes to create!

Gift Boxes

I needed to have a few gift boxes to display at my recent workshop and love the templates from Papertrey Ink so I made up a gift set for my mom. I used the new "In Colour" products from Stampin' Up!. The cards are CASE'd from a Paper Crafts magazine (slightly changed) as I wanted something that was blank so my mom could use them for whatever she needed them for. The cards use the new "In Colour" Designer Series Paper, Melon Mambo Paper, Ink and Ribbon. The cards also use the Whisper White Cardstock.
The box is made using Melon Mambo Cardstock, Ink and Ribbon, Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry Cardstock as well as a white flowers and a halfback pearl from the Pretties Kit.

These boxes and card sets make great Christmas gifts so if you're interested in creating or giving one of these sets to someone you love, please don't hesitate to let me know:
