Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #377

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're all having a great week!  We are expecting more snow today.  I can't believe it.  We never get this much snow in a winter.  My kids are lucky to get one snow day a year and we're already at 3 and today could be one too!!!  Seriously, winter needs to top!!!  Anyone else agree with that?

We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazingly talented Narelle Farrugia!  Narelle creates the most beautiful cards by fussy cutting intricate flowers! I absolutely adore each and ever card she makes!

I must admit the sketch kind of threw me and my card is a very broad interpretation of the sketch and I apologize for that now!

I went with my Lemon Zest stamp set and some Pineapple Punch Ink!  I just love how bright and cheery that ink is!  Makes my day!  I don't know where I got the frame die cut...it was just sitting in my die cut folder!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Granny Apple Green
Stamps: Lemon Zest
Ink: Memento Black, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green
Other: Subtle Texture Embossing Folder, Circle Punch, Frame Die Cut, Sequins, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches Blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for you.

Have a fabulous week!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #376

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I can't believe we're already at Wednesday!  We had a Family Day holiday here in Canada on Monday so starting the week on Tuesday always throws me off!  At least we're already half way to Friday!!!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is one of our extremely talented designers from Down Under - Karren Johnson!  Karren is a colouring genius!  I would love to sit and learn her colouring tricks some time!

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this sketch but then saw my In Flight Cutting plate from Taylored Expressions and knew I had to do butterflies!!!  I used the In Flight Overlays to cut out butterflies to glue on top!  I used some Hello Sunshine patterned paper and a thanks die to top things off!  I also used some white glitter cardstock under the butterflies so some sparkle would shine through!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, White Glitter, Blue Glitter (all SU)
Patterned Paper: Hello Sunshine (Taylored Expressions)
Other: In Flight Cutting Plate and Overylays (Taylored Expressions) Thank you die (Taylored Expressions), Snow Flurries Sequins (Taylored Expressions), Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created!  You will definitely be inspired!

Have a fantastic day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #375

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  We ended up with another snow day yesterday and the schools were closed.  I figured it might be a snow day so advised my kids to sleep in.  Nope.  Wasn't going to happen.  Both of them up at 7:15!!  They're both praying that school is cancelled again today!  Too funny!

We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!  Our hostess is our favourite French designer Cecile Ribon!  Cecile's cards are just gorgeous!  She has the most intriguing die cuts and I always love to see how she uses them!

I started out not knowing what I would do with this sketch!  I had something in mind and tried several times to make it work but had to start over.  I went through my dies and found some dual stitched triangles that I figured would work perfectly.  I threw in some circle garlands and I was off to the races!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Midnight Muse
Stamps: Essential Sentiments (MFT)
Ink: Midnight Muse
Other: Circle Garland Die (Reverse Confetti), Dual Stitched Triangle Dies (Lil Inkers), Subtle Texture Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for you!

We can't wait to see what you come up with this week!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #374

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  Hope you're having a great week so far! We're having some crazy weather here. Last Tuesday the schools were closed because of a crazy amount of snow.  It was also super cold (like -30C cold)  Then on Monday it was 11 degrees(C) and all of our snow melted!  Now we're supposed to get an insane amount of freezing rain.  I am praying the rain doesn't come because that much freezing rain is never a good thing!!

We have a new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  I have the honour of being this week's hostess!  I decided to tackle my extreme dislike of circles and jump into the circle world with both feet.

I decided to go for a white on white card!  I embossed some white cardstock with the subtle textured embossing folder and I used the glimmer white cardstock for others.  I threw on some white sequins as well just to make things fun!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, White Glimmer
Stamps: Sentiment Essentials (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Memento Black
Other: Subtle Texture Embossing Folder, Circle Punches, Sequins

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

I can't wait to see what you come up with this week!

Have a fabulous day!
