Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #330

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week so far!  We're having a great week here and are looking forward to having a nice short week this week and next week!  Bring on Easter! So thankful for Easter and all that it means to me and my family!  I hope you and your families have a lovely Easter as well!

We have another new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  This week I get the honour of being your hostess!  I am never too sure what to do about a sketch but I decided to pick something fairly versatile!  Remember, that big star can be any shape you like!!

I love, love, love the Sale-a-bration paper from SU - Bubbles & Fizz.  I love the colours and really just how cheery and happy it looks!  I may also love those panda bear stamps too! They're also part of the SU Sale-a-bration celebration this month!  I used the balloon punch to punch out the balloon and then covered it with Wink of Stella since I kinda thought it should be shimmery!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Basic Grey, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
DSP: Bubble & Fizz
Stamps: Party Pandas
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Balloon Punch,  Dots Embossing Folder, Wink of Stella, Label Punch, Dimensionals,

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!  You will not be disappointed!

I can't wait to see all the amazing cards you create this week!

Have a great day and a wonderful Easter!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #329

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  Can you believe we're already halfway through March?!  Where is the time going?!  We had a great March break last week.  We were at my mom's house and she was helping me cut projects for camp.  I have about 19 projects to get ready for 50 kids.  We got 14 projects ready to go!  I so appreciate her help and really couldn't do this without her!  I am so excited that there are only a few more to go!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Kim Singdahlsen.  Kim's cards are so beautiful and I absolutely love her collection of stamps and dies.  I think Colorado would be a great place to visit!!!!

I was a little concerned when I saw that giant circle on Kim's sketch but then I decided that I would try and make a masculine card with it because I have zero masculine birthday cards.  I have seen so many cards lately using this log paper and figured that would work perfectly.  It reminds me of my dad's wood piles actually!  So neat and perfect!

The card was a little dull and boring with just a plain white background so I ran it through the Big shot using the woodgrain embossing folder.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
DSP: I have no idea what it's called...I can't find the name...
Stamps: Four You
Ink: Early Espresso
Other: MFT Fishtail Stax, Stitched Circle Dies (Lil Inkers), Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Clean Team has created.  They are totally amazing!  Those ladies do well with giant circles!!!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #328

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  The boys and I are enjoying our week with my mom and dad!  My mom and I are cutting up a storm and getting a lot of projects ready for camp this summer.  I am so thankful for her willingness to help me cut!   The boys have been playing a lot of hockey and basketball outside with Papa so they are all in their glory!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of Linda Callahan!  Linda makes such beautiful cards and a lot of her cards are super punny so you need to head over to her blog and check them out!  Plus, she tells the best stories!!!

Linda's sketch is really fun and at first threw me for a bit of a loop!  I started flipping through my dies and found one that hadn't been used before and decided it was time!

I went with a black, white and gold theme!  Seems to be my theme as of late.  I can't help it.  Black and white are my go to colours!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil
DSP: Pop of Pink (Retired SU)
Other: Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti),  Celebrate Word Die (Lil Inkers), Die-namics Blueprints #29 (MFT), Die-namics Stitched Fishtail Stax (MFT), Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has come up with!  You won't be disappointed!

Have a fabulous day!
