Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #373

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  We're digging out after a huge snowstorm.  We got about 26 cm (or 10") of snow Monday evening and overnight.  Thankfully the boys got the day off school yesterday and we had a nice relaxing day at home - shovelling and sliding!  It was fabulous!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the lovely and incredibly talented Kim Singdahlsen!  Kim creates gorgeous cards each and every time!  Please head over to her blog and check them out!

So I'm still wanting to try my Christmas goodies and couldn't wait to ink up my Llama Love stamp set from Taylored Expressions.  I have been told that Llamas and Alpacas are all the rage.  I'm not really sure why but they are definitely cute!  Now, my poor sweet Alpaca doesn't have his face coloured because I didn't really know what colour it should be.  He is also grey and I'm not even sure Alpacas are grey.  I kinda think they're brown and beige.  But for today, they'll be grey.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Patterned Paper: Build a Scene (Taylored Expressions)
Stamps: Llama Love (Taylored Expressions)
Ink: Memorex black
Other: Sequins, Stampin' Blends, Llama Love Dies, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created!  You will definitely be inspired!

Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #372

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're enjoying your week.  If you live in the Eastern part of Canada or the US you're digging out after some snow and starting to thaw after some crazy cold weather.  We didn't get as much snow here as I thought we would get - which is totally okay with me.  It's supposed to actually be warm and rain today which will just make for a big mess.  Oh the joys of winter!  I guess when we live in Canada, we kinda have to expect the cold and snow!!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the lovely and talented Linda Callahan!  Linda makes amazingly beautiful cards.  I just love them!  She also tells great stories and has a sweet new grandson!  Head over to her blog to check it out!

I am still playing around with some of the fun goodies that I got for Christmas.  I need a birthday for my husband and thought I would work on it early rather than leaving it for the last minute - which I usually do!

I have had this Reverse Confetti Sentiment Essentials stamp set for a while now but only got the matching dies for Christmas.  Apparently I didn't realize when I bought them that there were matching dies!  I paired that with some Reverse Confetti paper and some embossing folders and was off to the races!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Smokey Slate, Blueberry Bushel
Paper: Paper Bliss 6X6 (Reverse Confetti)
Stamps: Sentiment Essentials
Other: Sentiment Essentials Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti), Subtle Texture Embossing Folder, Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder, Sequins (Taylored Expressions), Dimensionals

Thanks again so much for stopping in today.  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created!  You will definitely be glad you did!

Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #369

Hello!
Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a celebrated the New Year well!  I must confess that I am not a night owl so being in bed early on New Year's Eve was just fine with me.  My youngest thought staying up until midnight would be fun but we all knew that he would not be the prettiest sight the following day.  After many, many late nights in a row, midnight was not an option for him.  Yup, I'm a fun sucker.

We have a brand new sketch for the brand new year at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Amy O'Neill!  Amy's cards area always so beautiful and she puts colours and elements together like nobody's business!

Amy had a great sketch and I had started working on this card before I left to go and visit my parents.  Unfortunately I didn't get it done and had to start over again when I was at my mom's.  I'm so thankful my mom is a card maker and I don't really have to bring my own stuff!  I did get quite a few new goodies for Christmas though so it was fun to play with them!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Berry Burst, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
Patterned Paper: Cue the Confetti (Reverse Confetti)
Stamps: Pattern Builder, Kindness Cards (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Memento Black, Lucky Limeade, Berry Burst, Pool Party, Tangelo Twist
Other: Pattern Builder Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti), Circle Punch, Basic Rhinestone, Dimentionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards that the Design Team have created as inspiration!  You won't be disappointed!  I hope you'll also go and welcome our three newest team members!  We're so excited to have them on board!

Have a fabulous day!
