Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #363

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!   We're having a much better week here.  We had a very sick cat at our house last week.  She has a bacterial infection and she's now on some antibiotics that she does NOT enjoy at all.  She only has 3 doses left and then I hope she starts to perk up a bit.  It's been a tough go for her.  She's only 2 and she's the delight of Jacob's life so we're praying that within the next day or so she'll be back to being her normal self!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Kim Singdahlsen!  I absolutely love Kim's cards and love them so much that I made my Christmas list based on the stuff she uses to make her cards!!!  Die hard fan here!!!

I knew that I wanted to use my brand new Christmas Blessings Stamp set from Close to my Heart!  I just love it!  This is not the first card I made with this set.  I made a different one that planned on using for this week's challenge but then decided I wasn't quite sold on it and re-made it.

Cardstock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Gold Glimmer, Gold Foil
Stamps; Christmas Blessings (Close to my Heart)
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Circle Dies (Spellbinders), Bitty Banners Framelits, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the amazing cards the Design Team has create for your inspiration!

Have a fantastic day!

  1. Fabulous take on the sketch. I love how the circle is separate and yet a big part of the scene. And I'm sending continued prayers that Pepsi is getting better every day!

  2. This is beautiful! Perfect for Christmas!

  3. You always make beautiful cards with black and white and a touch of a metallic. I love this scene, and the sentiment is beautiful.

  4. You are so good at creating beautiful, elegant cards and this is no exception. Just beautiful!

  5. SO elegant. I love the scene you created - and the beautiful sentiment across the bottom works perfectly!
