Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #67

Happy New Year!
I trust everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday and a wonderful New Year!  I am still enjoying the holidays with my parents and the boys!  My husband has returned back home for some relaxation/work.  He is coming back on Friday to pick us up!  We are having so much fun here and the boys are totally enjoying the incredible amount of snow we have!

I can't believe it's Wednesday already and since the holidays I've had the worst time trying to keep track of what day it is!  We have a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches!  Jen Timko brings us a great sketch this week and boy I was excited to move on from Christmas cards!  I must admit though I'm highly considering making a Christmas card a week so that I'm not floundering in December!
I was so blessed to receive some of the new Stampin' Up goodies for Christmas!  I couldn't wait to break into them and loved using some on my card!  The new DSP is my absolute favourite!  Who doesn't love hearts?!  I got out my mom's Fashionable Hearts Embosslit to add some cute little hearts to the card!  I couldn't resist using the new pool party ribbon to tie it all up!

Head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out what the design team has created for you!

  2. So cute Jen! I love, love the colors in your card! I can't wait to get some of that SU goodness!

  3. Very pretty card. Love the color combo and all of those great hearts.

  4. Well you've moved on from Christmas cards with a bang! The hearts seem like they're floating on air!

  5. Look at those two handsome fellows! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. You've totally transitioned from Santa to hearts in a fabulous way! Great card in some great colors.

  6. This is a great card! I love how it seems that the hearts just float up from the DSP. The colors are wonderful, too!

  7. I love the way you used the hearts on your card!

  8. Oh so beautiful Jen ... I love your heart themed inpiration ... the texture and colours are stunning!

  9. What a sweet card, Jen. All those hearts seem to just bubble up from the cute dp you used; it's a delightful effect! Love it!

  10. This is such a happy card. The colors are bright and warm! I love the photos of your kids in front of the tree. Cute!

  11. Just look at those cuties at Christmas!! Love this picture! Fantastic card! So you are saying I "need" this DSP??!! It appears that I do!

  12. This is so colorful and so fun, Jen, the way your hearts are floating off the paper below!! (I'm going to try and play as often as possible this year in Lesley's Merry Monday challenge because I, too, was in a bit of a frenzy this past year!)
