Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #189

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  We had a great weekend.  My parents came down for a visit and my mom so willingly helped me with my camp preparations.  She tied man, many little knots for me!  I am very grateful of her willingness to do such a fiddly job for me!  I'm one step closer to being finished my projects for camp!

We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches today!  Our hostess is the amazing Narelle Farrugia.  Narelle is the queen of beautiful layers, fussy cut flowers and overall fabulous cards!  You need to check out her blog!

See that giant circle in there?  It didn't phase me once!  Of course my card is almost entirely white.  I have some strange obsession with white and big white spaces.  I threw some melon mambo in there but I must admit that I originally had it ALL white!  I wanted to keep it simple.  I like simple.   I think I'm just losing all form of creativity to be honest!

Cardstock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Stamps: Endless Birthday Wishes
Ink: Black Stazon
Other: Stitched Rectangles, Stitched Tags, Double Stitched Circles, Stitched Squares (all Lil' Inkers), Circle Garland Confetti Cut (Reverse Confetti), Dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones.

Thanks so much for stopping in today!

Please head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches Blog.  Our design team has created some amazing cards for you to see!

Have a fabulous day!

  1. Love the white with the pop of red! The added circle banner looks great! You and circles are getting along well these days.....:)

  2. Losing creativity? Hardly! I think this is fabulous! I love the pop of color from the Melon Mambo!

  3. I love all of the white! And I love all of the stitched dies. Clean and fun card, Jen!

  4. I think managing to produce an amazing mostly white card is a sign of great creativity - so don't sell yourself short! White on white has to have something to catch the eye and this beauty surely does that.

  5. really fab CAS card-the stitched edges add such wonderful detail!

  6. Oooooo, I love that you layered white shapes with one in color! I second what Karren said! :)

  7. No, you are NOT losing your creativity; you are expanding it in new and awesome ways! I love this design, and even though it looks "simple", there's beautiful design and creativity there. Lots of details and dimension. LOVE this!

  8. What a fabulous look - the simple red and white, but with all of the fun shapes and stitching!

  9. This combination of stitched elements is simply perfect! The melon plus the bling....brilliant! And not losing creativity. Far from it. A mostly white card is the hardest!!

  10. Look at you not scared of the circle - I'm so proud of you Jen! I am loving your white space cards and think I am going to channel you when I get my new order of SU thick card stock. I am loving your cards!

  11. Woo hoo! Look at that circle. :) I love all the white with the pop of red! It looks awesome!
