Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #174
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far! We are still in a deep freeze in Southern Ontario though I must admit that yesterday wasn't too bad and today is supposed to be similar and then we plunge back into some mighty cold temperatures! I guess it could be worse and we could be experiencing the deep snow that the East Coast is getting nailed with....Sorry Jen and Linda!
We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of the super creative Cindy Lovell! Cindy's cards are so amazing and you need to check out her blog if you haven't been there before. You will discover a world of beautiful things!
This sketch has another giant circle on it. I seriously think these ladies are trying to do me in!!! I was staring at the circle and decided that a beautiful spring wreath would work wonderfully for a circle! The background and diagonal stripe took a little work to get them so that I was happy but the card didn't take as long as they usually do! I think I should whip up a few more while I'm on a roll!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper white, Wild Wasabi
Stamps: Crazy for You, Wondrous Wreath, Pictogram Punches
Ink: Basic Black, Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green
Other: Itty Bitty Accents Punch, Wondrous Wreath Framelits Die, Basic Rhinestones, Strawberry Slush Thick Bakers Twine, Modern Mosaic Textured Embossing Folder
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches Blog and check out the beautiful cards the design team has created for you! You will not be disappointed!
Have a fabulous day!
Jen

This is so pretty Jen! Bright and cheerful . . . I'd never thought to use that wreath as anything other than a Christmas wreath, but it looks just as fabulous as a spring wreath too! Thanks for the inspiration over at FMS. Hazel xx
ReplyDeleteI love these bright, pretty colors on this wreath. And I love how you've placed the flowers on it. You've been rockin' the circle sketches, Jen! My husband will be in Montreal and Ottawa next week. We may have to go shopping for some warmer clothes for him before he leaves so his Texas blood doesn't freeze up there. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring wreath, Jen!!! Just what we need to alive in this freezing cold :)
