Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #146

Happy Wednesday!  Hope you are having a great week!  The boys and I are enjoying another week together!  We've had lots of fun and enjoyed each other's company!  They started their summer Project Life albums!  Caleb took to it right away and loved using the journalling cards and some stamps!  How I love that Stampin' Up and Project Life have teamed up together!!!!  I apologize for my complete lack of cards lately.  Having the boys home all the time means zero time for card making during the day and generally complete exhaustion by the time I get them to bed!

Today we have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches from the incredibly creative Amy O'Neill.  Her cards are so beautiful!  I love scrolling through her blog and drooling!
At first this sketch had me sweating!  I saw that flower and what I really saw was a big ol' circle!  I started to stress but I love the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and knew that I really wanted to use it on this card.

My dear friend Jenn graciously provided her swimming pool for us to use for our lessons a few days this week as the pool we were slotted to use has a broken heater and is freezing cold!  I wanted to have a card to thank her for coming to our rescue!  The "You Made My Day" stamp in the "And Many More" stamp set was perfect for this card!  I decided to emboss that and the butterflies in gold! I threw on some sequins and voila!

Cardstock: Whisper White, Blackblerry Bliss
Stamps: Kinda Eclectic, And Many More
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Versamark
Other: Gold Embossing Powder, Vellum, Gold Sequins, Basic Pearls

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Please hop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to have a peek at the beautiful cards the Design Team has created for you!  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Have a fabulous day!

  3. OMGorgeous, Jen! (First - apologies for the 'spotting' commenting, but know that I see - via Feedly - all your cards and I gaze and admire in awe!!) This card is show-stopping, knock-out stunning! The crisp stamping, the arrangement of elements, the swoon-inducing butterfly, the vellum, wow and wow! Sending that sentiment right back at you: YOU have made my day a whole lot sunnier (raining here in Kelowna, where we're visiting my husband's family). THANK YOU!!
