Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #369

Hello!
Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a celebrated the New Year well!  I must confess that I am not a night owl so being in bed early on New Year's Eve was just fine with me.  My youngest thought staying up until midnight would be fun but we all knew that he would not be the prettiest sight the following day.  After many, many late nights in a row, midnight was not an option for him.  Yup, I'm a fun sucker.

We have a brand new sketch for the brand new year at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Amy O'Neill!  Amy's cards area always so beautiful and she puts colours and elements together like nobody's business!

Amy had a great sketch and I had started working on this card before I left to go and visit my parents.  Unfortunately I didn't get it done and had to start over again when I was at my mom's.  I'm so thankful my mom is a card maker and I don't really have to bring my own stuff!  I did get quite a few new goodies for Christmas though so it was fun to play with them!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Berry Burst, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
Patterned Paper: Cue the Confetti (Reverse Confetti)
Stamps: Pattern Builder, Kindness Cards (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Memento Black, Lucky Limeade, Berry Burst, Pool Party, Tangelo Twist
Other: Pattern Builder Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti), Circle Punch, Basic Rhinestone, Dimentionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards that the Design Team have created as inspiration!  You won't be disappointed!  I hope you'll also go and welcome our three newest team members!  We're so excited to have them on board!

Have a fabulous day!

Jen

  2. I love how bright and colorful this card is. It's like a little pick-me-up during the long, dark days of winter! And I can't wait to hear about your new fun stuff - and to see what you make with it all!

  3. Hi Jen! I am excited to be on the FMS team with your and look forward to seeing your creations every week. How fun to be able to craft with your mom! Love how bright and cheery this card is; perfect for the winter gray days we have been experiencing.

  4. LOVE the burst of color!! Neither of my kids are pretty sights after late nights. I was always jealous of those families with kids who would just get droopy-eyed and curl up sweetly next to mom when they were tired. Nope - mine got grumpy and annoying - so we've never done New Years celebrations!
