Freshly Made Sketches #106

Happy Wednesday!
I can't believe it's Wednesday already!  It's been a busy week so far and the boys are tired already and looking forward to the weekend!  I haven't had much time in the craft room this week so far but Jacob is heading to his cooking class this afternoon so I should hopefully get a few minutes to crank out a card!

We have a brand new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches!  The fabulous Amy O'Neil brings us this week's super fun sketch!  Head on over to her blog and check out all of the beautiful she creates!

So at first when I saw the circle I panicked.  We all know how I feel about circles....right Jen Mitchell?!!!!

I decided to use some of the paper doilies that I've had sitting on my shelf for ages!  I decided I would double them up and then wrinkle them a little!  I hadn't paper pierced in a while so hauled out my templates and went to town!

Cardstock:  Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Stamps:  Papillion Potpourri, Elementary Elegance
Ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo
Other:  Basic Rhinestones, Mini Butterfly Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Doilies, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoy your day!
Head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the fabulous cards the Design Team has come up with for you this week!

  5. Beautiful Jen! I don't use doilies enough and this is such a perfect sketch for them! I need to make some Think Pink cards for an upcoming challenge and I just have to CASE your card!

  7. Very pretty card Jen, I love the doilies and cute butterflies.

  8. Well, girlfriend, I think it's time to admit that circles are your friend. This card is so gorgeous! I love the contrast of the bright Melon Mambo, crisp white and Crumb Cake. The layered butterflies, rhinestone and paper piercing are all details that make this card extra-special.
