Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #322

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  Hope you're having a great week so far?  Anyone else having some crazy weather?  My youngest son (Jake) was outside playing hockey with his dad on Sunday in a t-shirt.  Now, it was only 5 degrees celsius here and I don't consider that t-shirt weather.  Then on Monday night we get about 15 cm of snow.  Now it's -12 and freezing!  I guess the weather hasn't quite made up it's mind yet about whether it's winter or spring!!!

We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches.  Our hostess this week is our amazing French designer Cecile Ribon!  Cecile has the most amazing collection of dies.  I think I would love to go and visit her over in France and play with all those incredible dies!!!

Cecile's sketch is super versatile and can be turned into almost anything!  You should see the amazing shaker cards Karren and Jen M created!  I opted to use a DSP panel for my card.  I'm still trying to tackle the February birthday cards!  We won't talk about my husband's birthday that's on Saturday though.  I do not have that card made!  Masculine cards always throw me for a loop!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White
DSP: It's a retired 6X6 paper stack from SU (I can't remember the name)
Stamps: Sentiment Essentials (Reverse Confetti), Love Blooms (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Stazon Black, Old Olive
Other: Sequins, Love Blooms Confetti Cuts, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created!

We can't wait to see what your card looks like this week!

Have an amazing day!

Jen

  4. We're having the same weather here. Warm one day, freezing the next, then some snow to make things interesting! Only 46 days until spring!! I love this card. That DSP is fabulous. The dark background with the colorful flowers is a great look. Good luck with your husband's birthday card! :)

  5. Beautiful floral card, Jen! The big, bold sentiment is so striking with that pretty paper. And on the flip side of your weather, we've had scorching hot days here for a few weeks, then all of a sudden on Thursday night we had major storms across the country, flooding and cold weather! Mother Nature seems to be very confused this year!
