Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #119
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week! We had a beautiful day here yesterday! The sun was shining and it was nice and warm (if somewhere around 7 degrees C is warm for you!). The ice is finally off our driveway and for that I am thankful!
We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Our fabulous hostess this week is the talented Cindy Lovell! I do love her sketch this week! It was a challenge for me for sure but super fun to work with!
My friend Jeanette had a birthday on Monday and this was the card I made for her! Jeanette loves grey and yellow and I wanted to make a card in colours I knew she would enjoy!!! I do love grey and yellow together though too!!! The flower (from Secret Garden) is embossed in silver - it's a little hard to see in the picture!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Whisper White, So Saffron
DSP: Subtles Paper Stack (retired)
Stamps: Secret Garden, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Versamark
Other: Silver Embossing Powder, Secret Garden Framelites, Bitty Banners Framelits, Basic Rhinestones, Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you get a chance to scoot over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the beautiful cards the Design Team has created! You won't be disappointed!
Have a wonderful day!
Jen

Great combination of colors and patterns! It's very striking. (plus I'm partial to polka dots)
ReplyDeleteLove these colors together and the big flower is fab! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors and all the "dottiness" of your card. :) Saw the sketch on Freshly Made Sketches and didn't think I liked it at all until I saw what you created with it!

ReplyDeleteGreat card, Jen! I love the colors and how you've got so many layers, but it still looks so clean.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the row of rhinestones. It looks like you took a page out of Narelle's book with all those yummy layers!
ReplyDeleteSnap on the yellow and black colour combo Jen! This card is so striking and I'm loving you pretty flower! I've seen the weather that you guys are having on our news and it's seems so unreal compared to ours! I'm seriously thinking of sleeping on a mattress in our pool! lol
