Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #381

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I trust you're having a great start to your week!  Our kids are on their delayed Spring Break this week so they're home and bored out of their trees!  Ontario is back in lockdown so nothing is open and the weather has been crummy so far.  They had golf games planned all week but so far have only gotten one in!  Hopefully the weather improves and they can get out for some rounds!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is or diecut queen, Cecile Ribon!  Head over to Cecile's blog if you want to see some absolutely stunning cards!

So, as you can imagine, as soon as I saw this I might have had a small panic attack.  So not is there just one circle but 9!  9 circles!  My neighbour has asked me to make a 12th birthday card for her niece so I started with that card!  I noticed the Golden Honey paper from last year's Sale-a-bration sitting on my shelf though and decided that I would use that to make another card and try and tackle my circle aversion!

 Supplies:

Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Magenta Madness, Pink Sparkle, Gold Foil, Silver Foil
DSP: Golden Honey
Stamps: Honey Bee, Clubhouse
Ink: Basic Black
Other: 1" Circle Punch, Detailed Bee Dies, Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder, Golf Dies, Butterflies Dies (Taylored Expressions), Stampin' Blends, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has crafted to be an inspiration.

We hope you'll join in our challenge this week!

Have an amazing week!

Jen

  1. Wow! Two cards using my sketch! It seems you're not as afraid of circles as you say you are. The black and gold one looks so classy, and the glittery pink one is perfect for a young lady turning 12.

  2. I love circles, but could only think of lemons all in a row, so did something else, as you know :)
I LOVE the pink sparkly paper on your birthday card, and the bees are brilliant! I love those bees. I have two packages of that paper I am hoarding.

  5. So pretty with the patterns and textures behind those gorgeous bees! (And I don't usually call bees "gorgeous"!)

  6. A multi-circle sketch and you make 2 cards? Well done :). And what gorgeous cards they are, too!
