Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #138
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week! We have been enjoying some beautiful summer-like weather here! The boys finally got in the pool this weekend which has been a huge hit! We will have trouble keeping Caleb out of it this summer!
We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week! Our incredibly creative hostess this week is the one and only Jennifer Timko! I must say I really enjoy her sketch! It is so versatile and I've had several ideas since creating this card.
I love the new Blended Bloom Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! It will be available in the new catalogue which starts next week! I tried out the new Blendabilities markers. I'm practising our colouring skills....which I think I need to work on! I will have to keep up the colouring to master it! I think it's going to be a long process!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
Stamps: Four You, Blended Bloom
Ink: Memento Black, Rich Razzleberry
Other: Sequins, Rich Razzleberry Ribbon, Button, Baker's Twine, Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities Markers, Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Markers, Dimensionals

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #137
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week! We had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed celebrating Caleb's birthday with my mom and dad - complete with an ice cream cake with an F-18 Hornet on top! Caleb actually turns 8 today! I can't believe that my sweet baby boy is 8 already! Where does the time go?
We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches! Jen Mitchell is our snazzy hostess this week. Her cards are absolutely amazing and if you haven't seen them before, you need to head on over there and check them out!
I did try and create my card landscape style...I really did. I just got so frustrated. I couldn't get the card to work so I rotated the sketch. I'm not usually such a rebel!
I cracked open some of my sneak peek goodies to make this card! I am not too sure how I feel about the new In Colours yet but they are growing on me! I do love the new DSP pack and how the Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss look together!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White
DSP: Moonlight DSP Stack
Stamps: Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Other: Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Bitty Banners Framelits, Basic Rhinestones, Honeycomb Textured Embossing Folder, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #136
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far! We are having a very wet start to our week. We had so much rain here yesterday. Trevor actually had to drain our pool a bit so it didn't overflow. They are calling for even more rain for the rest of the week. Hopefully by the time the long weekend rolls around the weather improves!
We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of the fabulous Amy O'Neill! She sure has created a fun sketch for us!
I realize now that I forgot to add the button to my card. Actually....I tried to add a mini butterfly with some bling but it just didn't look right so I decided to forego the addition!
I decided to use the retiring Secret Garden stamp set and dies. I will really miss this set. I do love flowers and love them even more when they have coordinating dies! I'm a big fan of the look of basic grey and yellow (in this case Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry) together. Unfortunately the basic grey looks a little "blackish" in this picture! I embossed the "hello" in silver embossing powder to add a bit of shine to the card!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Whisper White, Crushed Curry
DSP: Brights DSP Stack
Stamps: Secret Garden, Banner Blast
Ink: Crushed Curry, Versamark
Other: Basic Rhinestones, Secret Garden Framelits, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #135
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I can't believe it's Wednesday already! Tuesday was a beautiful day here! The boys are so excited to have some warm, sunny weather! They were outside from the time they got home from school until it was bath/shower time! We even ate outside! Poor Jacob was so tired he couldn't walk up the stairs to bed! I realize that my days of carrying the little guy are getting fewer and fewer so I will take advantage whenever I can!
We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week! Our hostess this week is the amazing Narelle Farrugia. If you haven't been to her blog lately you need to stop what you're doing and head on over there! Okay, maybe finish reading this post first!!! Her cards are just beautiful!
As soon as I saw the sketch I knew that I wanted to do a card with the Blue Ribbon stamp set. My friend Barb just completed her first half marathon. Barb only started running late summer/early fall and started out running just a few kilometres and has worked her way up to a half marathon! She is a very determined lady! I wanted to honour her accomplishment with a card!
I'm not over thrilled with my card....I just couldn't get it to work the way I wanted but Barb loved it and that's all that matters!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Pacific Point, Real Red, Silver
Stamps: Blue Ribbon, Love and Laughter
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Other: Scallop Circle Punch, Circle Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, Black pearls (non-SU), Dimensionals, Silver Embossing Powder

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous day!
