Christmas Cards - Sneak Peek

It's hard to think about Christmas when it isn't even September yet! I need to get started early to fill orders and get my own cards made! I received my new mini-catalogue order a week or so ago and have finally gotten a chance to try everything out and upload some cards. These are just a few of the examples of cards that are available for order. Please keep in mind that Christmas card orders must be in by October 15th. A lot of these cards have been "cased" (copied) from the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue or from other designs I've seen but some are my own new designs! If you like what you see, let me know. Fall is in the Air

The wind was blowing today and the air was so cool it felt like fall. I have done up some fall cards using the Stampin' Up! set "Falling Leaves". It's such a great fall stamp set and can even be used for other occasions (thank you cards, etc.).

Kit of the Month Reminder

Sorry I've been slow at the posts. I'm spending two weeks with my mom and dad in Pembroke and haven't had a chance to sit down at the computer!

Just a quick reminder that you only have until August 31st to get your orders in for August's "Kits of the Month". Supply orders will be placed September 1st and packages sent out to you as soon the order arrives at my house and the cards are cut.
The first kit of the month is the Bella Bleu card set in the gift box and the second kit of the month is the Medallion 4 card kit.

Kit of the Month #2

I finished up Kit of the Month #2 this afternoon! I'm excited about this kit as it features my favourite stamp - the Medallion Background Stamp. It also features the Teeny Tiny Stamp Set (which I absolutely love and highly recommend) and the Word Window and Modern Label punches. I used 4 different ink colours (soft suede, crushed curry and melon mambo and rich razzleberry) in this kit - however you can choose to use one or two. Wish lists

Everybody has wish lists...shoes they want, places they want to go, things they want their husbands to do around the house! Do you have a wish list of fun card-making or scrapbooking supplies? I do and it's long! Would you like to create a wish list that could be e-mailed out to your friends or family so that you got what your really wanted for Christmas or your birthday? Well, I can help you out. If you have gone through the Stampin' Up catalogue and found treasures that make your heart go pitter patter, I would love to create a wish list for you.

What do I need you to do? First, create the list of fun products and accessories (include the product name and item #) then e-mail me that list along with the names and e-mail addresses of those who you would like me to contact. If you would like to receive supplies for events other than Christmas I need a list of those dates (ex. birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day). I will compile your list and send it out for you. Presto - you get what you really love for your birthday and Christmas! How simple...and what guy doesn't like simple shopping?

First "Kit of the Month"

The very first Ladybug Designs "Kit of the Month" is ready for release. This kit features the Oval All stamp set, some oval punches, Not so Navy and Soft Suede Ink, Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon and the Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper.

This kit includes the supplies to create 4 cards and the gift box. The gift box template is copyright and will come pre-cut and scored. You can also add on the stamps, ink and punches. There are several purchase options available. Each option includes taxes and shipping:

One Stamp Wonder!

My Stampin' Up order came on Friday afternoon and I finally got my hands on the new Medallion stamp. This background stamp (found on page 133 of the catalogue) is fabulous. I honestly think that if you're going to buy one stamp this year, this should be it. I made 10 cards in no time at all including birthday, thinking of you, wedding, thank you, just for you, etc. It is so versatile and looks great in any colour or style. Throw on a little ribbon, a brad and a sentiment and you have yourself a beautiful card in no time. I think I will do some cards up with this stamp for an upcoming kit of the month! This stamp has moved up to the top of my recommended list!

This stamp is fairly easy to use. I suggest practising first on some scrap paper just to get used to the feel of the stamp. In reality, no matter how the stamp hits the paper it turns out great. I tried stamping with ink and embossing it and it works great both ways.
