Freshly Made Sketches #428

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  We're all practising our social distancing (or we should be!)!  How are you surviving?  We have been having a great time. We are so blessed to live very close to a huge trail system (called the Bruce Trail).  We have been able to get out every single day for a hike.  It's been so lovely to get out and get fresh air and clear the mind!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Amy O'Neill!  Amy's cards are always so beautiful and full of gorgeous elements!  Head over to her blog and check them out!

I had a completely different idea in mind when I sat down to make my card!  I had a shaker box that I was going to make and it was going to be so you can see, that didn't happen!  I also saw the game controller die sitting there and I knew that it would make a great card as well!  There are a couple of birthdays coming up that this would be perfect for!

Now, this card and the sketch don't completely line up so I sure hope Amy and the girls can forgive me.  I tried the sentient over the controller and it looked funny.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Smokey Slate
Stamps: Level Up (MFT Stamps)
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Subtle Texture Embossing Folder, Game Controllers Dienamics (MFT Stamps), Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the other gorgeous cards!

Have an amazing day!  Happy social distancing!!!

  1. I love the bold colors for this fun card! Enjoy those walks (I've been enjoying the pictures) as they are just what the doctor ordered for these times.

  2. So striking in red and black! Totally fun card! Love seeing your hiking pix!

  3. I so wish I had this die!! This is fantastic!! I LOVE the whole design!!

  4. This controller is such fun! Perfect for all of us with boys, for sure. I'm jealous of your hikes and wish I had that gorgeous resource as close to me. Stay safe!
