Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #332

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're all having a great week!  I am currently in the process of packing up my craft room as we need to rip out the flooring and put new flooring in.  We decided since that needed to happen (due to a leak in our foundation), we would re-organize it as well.  When I say "we", I really mean me...there isn't a lot of help in this organizational process!!!  I can't blame my husband.  He would probably get incredibly frustrated watching my decision making process!  Anyhow, it's almost all packed up.  I've sorted through things and am finally getting rid of stuff that I've held onto for far too long.  I will never part with the cards my mom made me when I was going through university though.  They are far too precious and I had such a fun time looking through them the other day when I should have been packing!!!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of the amazingly talented Karren Johnson!  Karren is the colour queen!  I totally think I should go and visit her in New Zealand and learn to colour!  I've never been to New Zealand and I think it would be a amazing to go and see!

I really do enjoy my Stampin Blend Markers from SU.  I haven't had any issues with them and ink running so I've been very fortunate.  I am still getting the hang of this colouring thing but I do see why people find it so therapeutic.  Since I'm still new at this I didn't have many designs to colour so I had to dig out some old stamps that then got packed up...sorry if I don't know names today!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil
DSP: Pop of Pink (Retired)
Stamps: I Like You (flowers), Sentiment ???
Ink: Memento
Other: Sequins, Stampin Blends, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

Have a fabulous day!

Jen

  3. Those yellow flowers against the black background are a sure sign of spring! Now, if only the weather would cooperate! I don't envy you having to pack up your craft room, but it could be a good thing - an opportunity to purge!! Good luck!!!

  7. Jen the yellow flowers are coloured just beautifully! I hear your pain about having your craft room out of commission, good luck packing up! I need to move everything out of mine this summer so that my husband can remove the popcorn ceiling and do some drywall work! Ugh, not looking forward to it!
