Freshly Made Sketches #104

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week!  We've made it halfway through the week.  I got a few minutes yesterday afternoon in my craft room.  I wasn't as creative as I had hoped.  I may get a few extra minutes this afternoon as well since Jacob will be going to a cooking class with two of his friends.  That should be good for a laugh.  I wish I could be there to see it.  He will for have all those ladies in stitches!

Today brings us a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the extremely talented Linda Suarez.   I just love her cards!  This sketch was might fun to play with.  I need more masculine cards since I'm always at a loss so decided I had better made a masculine card with this sketch!

I love the new Sweater Weather DSP from SU!  It has all of my favourite colours!  I added an argyle embossed background and a corduroy button!  I really do love these retired buttons!.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
DSP: Sweater Weather
Ink: Versamark
Stamps: Happiest Birthday Wishes
Other: Early Espresso Embossing Powder, Corduroy Button, Hemp Twine, Argyle Embossing Folder

Thanks for stopping by!  Please head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the beautiful cards the ladies have created for you!  I sure hope you can join our challenge this week!

Clean and Simple Birthday

Hello!
Sorry for not posting the last couple of days.  I haven't made it in the craft room to make cards!  I got a few loot bags made for my son's birthday yesterday and worked on some door hangers today so hopefully I will get some photos of those in the very near future!

This is a card I made a while ago - and then went back and changed it a bit!  It was for the Clean and Simple card challenge (CAS165) on Splitcoast Stampers a few weeks ago.  I don't know why I haven't posted it until now!

The challenge was to create a clean and simple card using scallops!  I hadn't used my pennant punch in a while and decided that it would be perfect to make a card with.  I need a few French cards so I thought I would make this one up using a French sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a great weekend!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight
Ink: Basic Black, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight
Stamps: Pennant Parade, Happiest Birthday Wishes (French version)
Other: Dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones

Mojo Birthday Squares

 Hello!
Hope everyone had a great Tuesday!  Wednesday here means skating lessons for both boys...ugh.  My oldest loves skating and is great on his skates.  My youngest...not so much!

Well, I got my Mojo Monday card done today!  Along with a few other baby cards!

I was a little stumped what to do with all those squares but then decided that I would use my Boho Blossoms punch to create some cute little flowers.  I have also decided that I really do love Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum!  Who knew purple could be so fun?!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you have a great day!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant
Stamps: Happiest Birthday Wishes
Ink: Versamark, Elegant Eggplant
Other: Boho Blossoms Punch, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, White Embossing Powder, Scalloped Circle Punch
