Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #347
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great start to your week! We're having a great week. This is the first week that we're all home together. Well, the 2 boys and I! The cats are having a hay day with their boys home! Our kitten is hardly sleeping and then she kinda acts likes a wild toddler. Hopefully she'll get into the routine!!!
We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the lovely Kim Singdahlsen. Kim's cards are gorgeous and I love your collection of stamps and dies! They're always so beautiful!
I loved Kim's sketch and knew right away I wanted to use the double stitched Speech Bubbles from Lil Inkers! I still had the paper from last week's card sitting on the my desk still so I had to use it again! I love these black and white stripes! My die holder was sitting open and these speech bubbles jumped out at me! I decided to add on a gold flower because the white bubble looked a little naked!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold Foil
DSP: Tutti Frutti (Retired)
Stamps: LJD Birthday Greetings (MFT Stamps)
Ink: Versamark
Other: Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Sequins, Botanical Builders Framelits, Double Stitched Speech Bubbles 2 (Lil Inkers), Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for you! You will definitely be inspired!
Have a fantastic day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #346
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week! We are enjoying a great summer so far. The boys are in a music camp this week. They are both drummers and a group of kids learns 3-4 songs all week and then they have a concert on Friday night. It's amazing how quickly they can learn the songs and how amazing they sound by Friday! Caleb did it last year but this year both boys are doing it. Thankfully they have two drum kits in the band!
We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the amazing and super fun Linda Callahan. Linda's cards are always thoughtful and often quite punny! Head on over to her blog and check them out!
Linda's sketch has a LOT of circles on it. Not just one, but there are three HUGE circles. Okay, they're not huge but if you don't like circles they seem super big! I decided I just didn't want to tackle circles and opted to go with triangles instead!! I have some scrap paper left from camp and used some of the Tutti Frutti for the card! I decided to go for a black, white and red scheme. I really do love red!!!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red
DSP: Tutti Frutti
Stamps: Sentiment Essentials (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Dual Stitched Triangles (Lil Inkers), Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created to inspire you!
Have a fabulous day!!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #344
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week! We are right in the middle of camp week. It's a crazy but fun week. I must say I definitely don't feel as young as I used to! We have 20 kids in the morning and 20 kids in the afternoon making cards or other projects with our group. They do 4 projects each morning/afternoon so a total of 20 over the week. My youngest is doing flag football and robotics and he's having a blast! So many fun choices for the kids!
We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is our favourite French card maker, Cecile Ribon! Cecile has the most amazing dies and I'm always so intrigued by how she uses them! Head over to her blog to check them out!
So I really apologize of how crooked that triangle piece is at the top of the card. Seriously. It was in a hurry and had to pack for camp and this is what happened. I'm ashamed. Truly! I had this paper sitting on my desk - left over from a camp project I was trying out. I figured I would add in a little butterfly and bee! I just love little bugs!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder
Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Dragonfly Dreams, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Other: Little Butterfly Punch, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Sequins, White Embossing Powder, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by!

We can't wait to see what you come up with this week!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #343
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! We're in the home stretch for school being finished here. Finally. The boys are done on Friday and they are super excited to be done. They aren't doing too much at school these days but that's okay. They're having fun and their teachers are still getting them to do things so everyone is happy! We're also in the homestretch before camp. Monday is the big day! I'm excited and nervous! I'm hoping that everything is ready to go!
We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the amazingly talented Jennifer Timko! Jen's cards are just fabulous. Her colouring and combinations always take my breath away! She is one creative girl! Head over to her blog to be wowed!
I needed a masculine birthday card for my father-in-law's upcoming birthday. I don't have a lot of masculine stamps so I ended up choosing this one - So Very Special by Reverse Confetti. I opted to use my new favourite colour combination - Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy
Stamps: So Very Special (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Night of Navy, Lemon Lime Twist
Other: Sequins, Simple Stripes Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #342
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great start to your week! We are in school wind down mode which is finally nice. Caleb had what we hope is his last test today. I know the teacher is just trying to keep them busy and out of trouble but I think we're all pretty much done!!! Just a week and a half to go!
We have a got a great new sketch for you at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the amazing Amy O'Neill! She is our colour master and she can mix and match colours like no ones business. She's also amazing with embellishments and getting thread to make these perfectly amazing circles!!! It's a skill I don't possess!! Head over to her blog and check it out!
I used this sketch to make a Father's Day card for my Dad. I don't have a lot of masculine paper or stamps so I pulled out some of this Christmas paper from last year since it was about as masculine as I was getting. I only have one Father's Day set and it's a retired one from SU. I kinda thought the card needed something so I added in some arrows using the arrow punch!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black. Old Olive
DSP: Merry Little Christmas (SU Retired)
Stamps: Best Dad Ever (SU Retired)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Arrow Punch, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created! They are pretty spectacular!
We can't wait to see what you create this week!
Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #341
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week! We're having a good week! The kids have been enjoying their evenings in the pool and I've been trying to get some videos done for my "other" business while they're swimming away! They've cooperated nicely! I think we're pretty much done with school around here. It's so hard to get motivated to do homework when it's so gorgeous outside and the boys just want to be in the pool or playing some basketball! 2.5 weeks left to go!!
We have a fantastic new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the amazing fussy cutter and flower stamper extraordinary Narelle Farrugia! Narelle's cards are always gorgeous so head over to her blog to check them out!
I had a specific card in mind when I made this and I know I wanted to use the Botanical Builders Framelits! I am so sad they retired but they're forever get use at my house!!! I went with white and black, well, because I love it far too much! I wanted to keep this clean and elegant!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Other: Botanical Builders Framelits Dies, Sweet Celebrations Dies (Lil Inkers), Celebrate Word Die (Lil Inkers), Black Rhinestones (SU), Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created! You will definitely be inspired!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #340
Hello Everyone!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great start to your week! We're having a great week here. My oldest got braces on yesterday. Let's just say that he's not as impressed as I'd hoped he be. His food has to be cut into tiny little pieces for right now - until he gets used to chewing with the braces on. To think we have to survive 18 months of this! Then do it all over again with the second one! What we do for our kids to have straight teeth!
We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the lovely and extremely creative Karren Johnson. Karren's colouring is always mind blowing and you need to go and check out her blog. I'm totally going to New Zealand for colouring lessons!!!
I love the versatility of Karren's sketch. I knew right away what I wanted to make. I know, it's shocking. I couldn't believe it myself. I found the stamp set that I wanted to use and then had to go searching through bags and bags of camp projects to find the dies I needed! I am thankful I wrote down which bag they were in, it's just that I haven't labelled the bags yet!!! I coloured in the letters using the Stampin' Blend Markers and may have used some Wink of Stella on the word "Shine".
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Stamps: Shine Bright (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Memento Black
Other: Sun n Clouds Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti), Simples Stripes Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Wink of Stella
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration! I hope you'll also welcome our newest Guest Designer Laurie Unger!
Have a fabulous day!
