Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #483
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far! I totally spaced on my blog post again. Having the kids home again for online school means someone always has my laptop! It's taking a bit to get used to having everyone home and changing my schedule. I used to do blog posts during the day but have to do them in the evening when my laptop isn't in such high demand! By the time I get the hang of it, it will be summer break!
We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess is the amazing Narelle Farrugia. Narelle's cards are always divine. Her layers, her fussy cutting and those flowers! They always make my heart skip a beat! Head over to her blog to check them out!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White
Stamps: Forever and Always, Pansy Patch, French Foliage

Other: Pierced Blooms Dies, Double Stitched Circle Dies, Clear Drops, Dimensionals
Thanks again for stopping by! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the challenge for the week!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #479
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I completely spaced on my post today. I usually write them the night before but a few things happened yesterday that made me think that yesterday was actually Wednesday. My days are so mixed up. I am hoping that at some point my brain will start working again!
We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the incredible Kim Singdahlsen! Kim's cards are always so beautiful and she has the most amazing collection of stamps and dies! Head on over to her blog to check them out!
I didn't have much time to make this card. It came down to the wire. I was a little stressed because I couldn't quite figure out what to do. That's what happens when you leave it to the last minute! I wanted to use the Pierced Blooms again because honestly, I just love them! I thought I'd make the card black, white and silver but that didn't happen. I finally reached for a piece of the Peony Garden DSP (which is retiring soon) and I was off to the races!Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Silver
DSP: Peony Garden
Stamps: Many Messages
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Pierced Blooms Dies, Messages Dies, Dimensionals
Thanks again for stopping by. I'm so sorry that I didn't get my act together sooner and get this blog post up! I need to do better because I'm the hostess next week!
Please head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog page and see the beautiful cards the Design Team has come up with!
Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #477F
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week! I"m so glad to be back and taking part in this week's challenge at Freshly Made Sketches! I had to take a few weeks off so we could sell our house! I needed to keep my craft room in tip top shape and there is no way there could be any creating going on! I'm a very messy crafter! Thankfully our house sold in just over 24 hours so the craft room can be messed up all over again!
Our hostess this week is the amazing Jen Mitchell! She is the queen of clean and gorgeous cards! You'll definitely want to head over to her blog to check them out! Jen has such a fun sketch for us this week! Squares are almost as daunting for me as circles are! I might has stared at this one for a while!
I opted for the Flower and Field DSP and the Pierced Blooms because honestly, you can't go wrong with them and we all need some cheery flowers right about now! I absolutely love these flowers!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight
DSP: Flower and Field
Stamps: Many Messages
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Pierced Blooms Dies, Message Dies, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to see the gorgeous cards that the girls have created! They're all so gorgeous!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #473
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're all having a great start to the week! It's been a crazy week! I've seen pictures of kids building snowmen in Texas (for their first time ever) to 12" of snow out in Washington! We got a big dumping of snow Monday night and there's more supposedly coming on Thursday. I guess being Canadians we're supposed to be used to it and love it, but...I don't really! I do really prefer to walk in the winter though - except for the death trap sidewalks! I love the fresh, cold air. Nothing beats it!
On a less cold and snowy note, we have a brand new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week! Our hostess this week is the incredible and hopefully not frozen Texan, Amy O'Neill! Amy is so creative and her cards always amaze me! Head over to her blog to check them out!
Okay, you might not believe this but this is the first version of this card! Yup, I got it the first time around! I was rather impressed with myself. It came together quite quickly. Things like that generally don't happen so we'll celebrate this one!
I love the Flower and Field paper and couldn't help but use it again this week! Pair with the Pierced Blooms of course. Who doesn't love a sweet, fresh daisy in the winter to cheer you up?
Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, So Saffron, Granny Apple Green
DSP: Flower and Field
Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Pierced Blooms Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and take some inspiration from the cards you see there. The Design Team knocked it out of the park this week!
Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #471
Happy Wednesday crafting world! I hope you're having a great week! I hope those of you who were hit with the snowstorm earlier in the week are digging out! I don't think we'll be getting it. Sometimes we get the tail end but I think this time it's going to miss us! I won't complain! We're also hoping to hear today if our kids can go back to school this week. Some kids in our province have headed back to school but our board has not. We're hoping for next week. My youngest isn't loving online school and really needs to be back with his friends. I guess we'll just wait and see and then make the best of whatever happens!
We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the incredible Karren Johnson! Karren is truly amazing and not only makes incredible cards, she is a truly incredible person! I really do hope that I'm able to actually meet her in person one day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #468
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far! We have a brand new Stay At Home order and State of Emergency here in Ontario. It's a little murky as to what we can and cannot do. Let's just say that I don't leave the house much these days except to get groceries and go for a walk. I guess it's a good thing I like my house!! More crafting time?! I think I should take advantage of it. It's a good thing it's winter and there isn't really anywhere I want to go!
We have a brand new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Our hostess this week is the fabulous Linda Callahan! Linda creates such beautiful cards. I always love them! Head over to her blog to check them out!
So I hadn't noticed that the sentiment was supposed to be at the bottom of my card. I don't know how that happened. I obviously cannot copy things down properly and so my sentiment is in the wrong spot! I absolutely LOVE the FREE Flower and Field paper from Stampin' Up! It's FREE as part of our Sale-a-bration sale! For every $60 CAD before taxes, you get to pick a free product! These flowers are so sweet! I also think they pair perfectly with my Pierced Blooms dies!Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, So Saffron, Petal Pink, Basic Black, Just Jade
DSP: Flower and Field
Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Pierced Blooms Dies, Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
I hope you'll head over to to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and join in our challenge! The Design Team has created some amazing cards that will definitely inspire you!
Have an amazing day!
