Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #669

Hello!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  We are almost halfway through January!  I actually feel like it's flying by.  Normally I'd say January has 693 days but this year I feel like I'm blinking and it's gone.  I'm sure it doesn't feel that way to everyone and I know a lot of people struggle with January.  I think our weather has been so uncharacteristically mild that it doesn't quite seem like January.  At least that's what I'll tell myself!

We have a brand new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is our favourite Australian and the lady I'm most excited to take to the top of a mountain, Narelle Farrugia!  Narelle makes beautiful cards.  She's our layering queen so head over to her blog to check them out!

I wanted to make another Valentine's Day card but I really struggled.  I probably should have just scrapped it and moved on to something else instead but I didn't.  I'm not overly thrilled with the final product but I got it done!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Hammermill Coverstock White, Silver Foil, Real Red (SU)
Dies: Many Hearts Dies (SU)
Other: Curved Everyday Sentiments (Spellbinders), Silver Foil (Spellbinders), Subtle Texture Embossing Folder.

We headed out on a much warmer hike at Rummel Ridge on Saturday.  We thought we were in for a treat of a hike but turns out we hit a snowstorm on our ascent and our views were pretty non-existent!  Thankfully the skies cleared on our way down and we were able to catch a few beautiful views!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll join in our challenge this week!  You have until Monday at 1 PM EST to get your card entered into this week's challenge!  If you need any inspiration at all, please head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the cards the Design Team have posted!

Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #668

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  We've had a chinook blow in so the temperatures have increased and it's lovely!  I don't love the chinook headaches that accompany said temperature change but they don't last long for us!!

We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches today!  Our hostess this week is the lovely Karren Johnson!  Karren's cards are always so beautiful so please head over to her blog and give her some love!
I popped into the local paper store here and saw this cute little gnome die from Spellbinders and couldn't resist him!  I absolutely love gnomes!  Not as much as I love grizzly bears but grizzly bear dies are hard to come by!  I decided I would make this guy a cute little Valentine's Day gnome.  I had some old SU Valentine's Day paper from years ago that I grabbed to make this card.  I had originally made him in red but my oldest told me he looked like a Christmas gnome!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Hammermill Coverstock White, Melon Mambo, Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, Pink Foil (didn't photograph well at all)
DSP: Pop of Pink (SU Retired)
Stamps: P.S. I Love You (SU Retired)
Ink: Detail Black (Pink Fresh Studios)
Dies: Garden Buddies (Spellbinders), Nested Circle Dies (Spellbinders), Tasteful Label Dies
Other: Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, Heart Punches (SU - Retired)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you will join in our challenge this week!  We would love to see what you do with our sketch this week!
You have until Monday at 1 PM EST to get your card entered in this week's challenge.
If you need some inspiration, please head over to our blog!  The Design Team has created some beautiful cards!
Thought I'd share some of the pics from our hike on Friday.  It was a beautiful day - despite being -20C.  The sun was shining and we had bluebird skies!  The hike itself sucked and might have made me scream at some trees!

I hope you have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #622

Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far!  We've gone from super warm and lovely to slightly below freezing but still beautifully sunny. We got some snow on the weekend - which was much needed but still a change from last week's spring like weather.  The temperatures are supposed to stay cooler this week and then rise again next week.  Strangest weather ever.

Since it's Wednesday, that means we have a brand new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  Our hostess this week is the amazing Jen Mitchell!  Jen's cards are super clean and look amazing so head over to her blog and check them out!

I wasn't too sure what I wanted to do for my card this week but I remembered I had seen Laurie Unger make a card recently and I thought I'd take my inspiration from her!  I hadn't made any Valentine's Day cards yet and though my husband won't be home for Valentine's Day I probably should still make him a card!!!

I wanted to go for an all white card.  I really wanted that red heart to pop.  I foiled up a sentiment and the card was ready to go.  Sometimes keeping it very simple is best for me!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Hammermill White Coverstock, Real Red (SU)
Other: Small Heart Punch (SU - retired), Stitched So Sweetly (SU), Mini Everyday Sentiments (Spellbinders), Red Foil (Spellbinders), Glimmer Hot Foil Machine (Spellbinders)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and join in our challenge.  We always love seeing what you create!  If you need some inspiration, head over to the challenge page and you'll find lots there!

Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #569

Hello! Happy Wednesday!
I hope your week has started well!  We had two foggy days (like all day, crazy fog) that then froze to the trees creating fog frost.  It's the most amazing thing.  The trees look like magical, snow covered beauties but without the actual snow!  Once the sun hits them it melts but it's still so cool!  Trevor and I were able to get out for another hike on the weekend.  It was fabulous.  Part of it was pretty vertical and almost made me want to cry but it was so nice to get out.  The view wasn't as good as normal because of the clouds but it will still beautiful!  Mountains are always more beautiful with snow!

We've got a brand new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the amazing Jacquie Southas!  Jacquie creates the most beautiful cards!  Head over to her blog to check out her gorgeous cards!

Jacquie's sketch is perfect to generate all kinds of different cards!  I still want to make a few Valentine's Day cards so this sketch worked perfectly for that!  I grabbed Many Hearts Dies (SU), the Always Dies (SU) and my Knit Picky Winter paper pack (Lawn Fawn) and went to town!  The best part is that I can make this card in different colours so they're not all the same and some more perfect for the boys in my life!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride, Champagne Foil, Basic White
Patterned Paper: Knit Picky Winter (Lawn Fawn)
Stamps: Forever and Always (SU)
Ink: Flirty Flamingo
Other: Always Dies (SU), Many Hearts Dies (SU)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll join in our challenge this week!  Head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the cards the Design Team has created to inspire you!  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #568

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to the week!  We're back in routine here - kids are back at school and my husband is back at work.  It was such a nice holiday and I loved having a break from the rush and craziness but getting back to routine is always really nice!  At least for me!

We've got a brand new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!  Our hostess this week is the super creative Judy Rozema!  Judy's cards are beautiful and always full of personality!  I love them!  Head over to her blog to check them out!

I need to make some Valentine's Day cards so I decided I would use this sketch as a starting point!  I had purchased that sweet Lawn Fawn paper last week and couldn't wait to use it!  It's so fun and perfect for winter or for Valentine's Day!  I had grabbed this hot foil plate as well and it's the perfect sentiment for this card!  Of course I needed some sweet little hearts so I added these hearts from the SU Many Hearts Dies!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Hammermill Cover Stock
DSP: Knit Picky Winter 6X6 Petite Paper Pack (Lawn Fawn)
Stamps: Lots of Heart (SU)
Ink: Flirty Flamingo
Other: Love You the Most (Pink Fresh Studio), Rose Gold Hot Foil (Spellbinders), Many Hearts Dies (SU), Subtle Texture Embossing Folder (SU)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I do hope you'll pop over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and join in our challenge this week!  There are some beautiful cards posted that will help get those creative juices flowing!  We always love to see what you create!

I hope you have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #470

Hello!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great week so far!  We were covered in a blanket of snow yesterday.  Nothing major but the first big snowfall of the year (and it's not a huge one).  I have a love-hate relationship with snow.  I can definitely live without it but the ground feels so damp when we don't have it.  We're supposed to have some cold weather for the next couple of days so it will stick around!  The kids will be happy!

We have a brand new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!  I have the honour of being this week's hostess!  I kept the sketch super simple but sometimes the simpler the sketch the harder it is to create a card!  At least it is for me!!!

I just love the Forever and Always stamp set and dies.  I have so much fun using them and those flower are beautiful!  I definitely need to work on my colouring but I'm a work in progress!  I added a little Wink of Stella to the centre of the flowers but you can't really see it in these pictures!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
DSP: In Good Taste
Stamps: Forever and Always
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Always Dies, Tasteful Texture Embossing Folder, Stampin Blends, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the gorgeous cards that the Design Team members have created!  You will definitely be inspired!  I can't wait to see what you come up with and I do hope you'll enter our challenge this week!

Have an amazing day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #469

Hello!

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a good week!  I feel like Valentine's Day is just around the corner so I'm trying to get some Valentine's Day cards made so I'm not scrambling at the last minute!  Great intentions, not sure about great follow through though!  We shall see!  I usually decorate a bit and should probably do that before it's February 13th!  It's not like there's much else going on around here!!!

We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!  Our hostess is the amazing Kim Singdahlsen.  Kim's cards are always fabulous and you need to head over to her blog and check them out!

I decided to use my new Lots of Hearts Stamp set and the Many Hearts dies for this card.  Of course I needed to tie in the FREE Flower and Field DSP!  Honestly, this paper pack might just be my favourite ever.  It makes me smile!  I also used the FREE Oh So Ombre paper as the background.  I just love that fading colour!

I decided to add some thread around the edge of the heart.  It's just embroidery floss and took a VERY long time to stitch.  I couldn't get the floss through the needle and so I was frustrated!  Needless to say, I might not make too many versions of this card!

Supplies:

Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler

DSP: Flower and Field, Oh So Ombre

Stamps: Lots of Hearts

Ink: Basic Black

Other: Many Hearts Dies, Tasteful Labels Dies, Embroidery Floss, Dimensionals

Thanks again for stopping by!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the other cards!

We hope you'll join in our challenge this week!

Have a wonderful day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #324

Hello Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope you're all having a fabulous day celebrating love!  We don't do too much around here.  We generally celebrate together!  I always make chocolate covered strawberries for dessert and I bought the two boys and my husband a little chocolate.  Not a lot.  They don't need it!!!  I'll be going to bootcamp tonight and Caleb will be heading to youth at church so it won't even really be spent together!!

We have a an amazing new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches courtesy of our layering and fussy cutting queen Narelle Farrugia! Narelle's cards are just gorgeous!  Head over to her blog and you'll be wowed by her creativity!!

I opted not to use a circle for this card.  Because I needed a valentine's day card for my husband and wasn't sure what to do.  The funny thing about this card - which says that I love him and coffee, is that I don't like coffee!!!  I'm a tea drinker but the heart didn't say tea so we went with coffee.  He'll understand!!  I hope!

I'm in the throws of kids camp preparation and I have paper and stamp sets and pictures and lists all over my craft room.  It is definitely not conducive to creating anything these days and I feel like this card definitely doesn't meet the standards I set for it!!  Thankfully I always have next week!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
DSP: Stacked with Love (retired)
Stamps: Merry Cafe
Ink: Real Red
Other: Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the beautiful cards the Design Team has created for your inspiration!

Have a "lovely" day!!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #323

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope everyone is having a great week so far!  I had a busy day yesterday.  I was on a field trip with Caleb's class.  It's always interesting going anywhere with Grade 6 students.  I find them quite intriguing.  The dynamics between the boys and the girls makes me laugh.  The girls look longingly at the boys and the boys look at the girls like they're all nuts!  Hopefully this is the last field trip I have to go on for a while!

We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess this week is the incredible Karren Johnson!  Karren has amazing colouring skills and her skills and creativity make me drool!  I'd love to go and visit her one day and learn from her!!!  Oh, and play with all her markers!

Karren's sketch threw me a little.  I don't know why.  I guess I was feeling a tad uncreative.  I had some retired Pop of Pink paper sitting on my craft table left over from camp last summer and decided that it would work to make some Valentine's Day cards.  These will probably be for my kids!  At least, they will be if I get another one made - otherwise it may just be for my hubby!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, White Glimmer
DSP: Pop of Pink (Retired)
Stamps: Bitty Banners (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Bitty Banners Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti), Ruffled Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created!

Have an amazing week!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #273

Hello!
Happy Wednesday and Happy February!  We are getting ready for a pretty big event at our house.  My husband just happens to be turning 40 this coming Friday!  I can't believe it.  There has to be something wrong with my math since I'm pretty sure I'm only turning 30 (again!) on my next birthday.  My husband is a big hockey fan so we are having a Hockey Themed Family party for him.  He doesn't want anyone else but family so we will honour his wishes!  He did say no cake but a birthday isn't complete without a cake - ice cream cake to be exact!!!

We had a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our hostess today is the amazing Karren Johnson!  Karren is uber creative.  She can also colour like no one's business AND she has the cutest accent!!!

Karren's sketch is super versatile.  The sky is the limit with this one!  I opted to make a simple Valentine's Day card that I can easily duplicate if I need to and use for the boys teachers!

I used some old DSP from Stampin' Up for this one!  I threw on some sparkly red hearts and added a sentiment.  I had a super hard time getting this sentiment straight.  I almost lost my marbles on this one!  Needless to say that's why it's on a banner!!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Red Glimmer
DSP: Stacked with Love DSP Stack (SU Retired)
Stamps: And Many More
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Heart Punch, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the beautiful cards the Design Team has come up with!

Have a fabulous day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #270

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you're having a great start to your week!  Our kids started back at school on Monday and though it was super nice to have them home for a couple of weeks, it was very nice to send them off to school!  I was reminded today though that there are only two months before March break starts!  Doesn't seem possible!

We have a great new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our lovely hostess is the amazing Kim Singdahlsen.  Kim has the best stash of card making supplies!  I think I would love to go and visit her and use her stuff sometime!!!
So, as you can see, I totally botched the sentiment placement on this card.  Apparently I did not see it at all.  Not sure what happened there.  I was at my mom's house when I made this card and I guess I wasn't paying attention and missed it.  Sorry about that one!

I also used all of my mom's supplies on this card and just grabbed stuff from her bins and boxes and have no idea what any of it is!  Again, my apologies.   All I really know is the black is Basic Black and the pink is Melon Mambo.  What I do know for certain is that there is some Wink of Stella on that "xoxo"!!!

I hope you'll head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for you!  These ladies never cease to amaze me with their creativity!

Have a great day!

CAS(E) This Donut!

Hello!
Happy Wednesday again!  I should have gotten my act together yesterday and gotten this post up!  It completely slipped my mind.  I hope you're having a great day!  It is a beautiful, sunny, warmish day in Southern Ontario.  The temperature is perfect for January!  We're heading into another cold snap so we will enjoy the sun and the warmth today!

I love the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch this week!  It was so fun and I needed another Valentine's Day card!  I really should be making my husband a birthday card since that happens first but I was in a Valentine's Day kind of mood!

I totally love the the Donut You Know stamp set and Confetti Cut from Reverse Confetti!  It is super cute and worked perfectly for the card I wanted to make!  I decided using Red Glimmer paper for the hearts would work - but the hearts were a little harder to stick on than I had anticipated.

If you wonder why the donut looks a little funny - it's just Glassy Glaze Enamel!  I wanted my donut to have an authentic glazed look.  The glaze didn't work as well over the glimmer paper as it has in the past using regular card stock or DSP for the "sprinkles"!  Yes, that is another stitched rectangle you see.  Sorry - I love them.  I can't stop using them!!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
DSP: Stacked with Love DSP Stack
Stamps: Donut you Know (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Other: Donut Confetti Cuts, Stitched Rectangles (Lil' Inkers), Dimensionals, Glassy Glaze Enamel

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you have a fabulous day!

Plane and Simple!

Hello!
Happy Friday!  I love Friday's!  Friday nights at our house entail the couch and the TV!  Tonight the boys chose to watch two episodes of Wild Kratts!  They love that show and I must admit I'm right there with them!  They have learned so much and for my youngest, having him sit for 30 minutes is a total bonus!

I had a few minutes the other day to whip up a card for this week's Retro Sketches challenge.  Now, my take on the sketch may be a stretch.  Oh, that might rhyme, sorry about that!

I recently purchased the Fun Paper Airplane Die and the Plane and Simple Airplane Stamp set from My Creative Time.  Of course in our house these will be a HUGE hit!!!  I can't wait to make a few more cards with it!!! I though it would be perfect to do a Valentine's Day card for one of my sweet boys!  The inside of the card says "I love You" but of course I forgot to take a picture of that!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, Red Glimmer
DSP:  Stacked with Love DSP Paper Stack
Stamps: Fun Paper Airplane, Plane and Simple (My Creative Time)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Anytime Tags Die Set 2 (Lil' Inkers),  Fun Paper Airplane Die (My Creative Time), Itty Bitty Punch Pack (Heart - SU), Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you'll visit again soon!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #169

Hello!  Happy Wednesday!
I hope you're all having a great week!  I can't believe it's almost the middle of January.  The days are slowly getting longer and I'm enjoying ever extra minute of daylight we get each day!

We have a fabulous new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches!  Our very own, and fabulously talented Jennifer Timko has created a great sketch for us!   Now, I'm sure as you look at the sketch and see that GIANT circle sitting there you started laughing wondering what I thought.  We won't talk about that.  That circle and I are not on speaking terms!

As I mentioned in my previous post, the stitched rectangle dies from Lil' Inkers are going to get a lot of use on each and every card.  The Coffee Cozy stamp set will as well!  I just love it (and all the fabulous sayings that it comes with)!  Now, I want to give this card to my husband for Valentine's day but it really should say "You're the milk in my tea".  I don't actually drink coffee but tea and I, we're inseparable!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Kraft, Red Glimmer
DSP: Stacked with Love DSP Stack
Stamps: Coffee Cozy (Lil' Inkers)
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Polka Dot Textured Embossing Folder, Coffee Cozy Dies, Itty Bitty Accents Punch, Rectangle Stitched Frame Dies, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Please head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out what the design team has come up with to inspire you!  You will not be disappointed!

Have a great week!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #121

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!  I can't believe it's Wednesday already!  Yesterday was a busy day...very busy!  I was at the school most of the day trying to get their home reading books organized and re-distributed.  I had boot camp last night since Trevor is away (again) tonight.  Wow - she worked us hard!

We have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!  The talented Linda Callahan is our hostess this week and she has come up with a fabulous sketch for you!  I loved it!
Of course I've got Valentine's Day on the brain!  I have one more card to share and then I may have to put the lid on it and move onto bigger things - like my husband's birthday card!  Yikes!!!

I wanted to keep this card simple and clean!  I do love the "Just Sayin" speech bubbles!  They are so fun to work with and since they have coordinating framelit dies, they are super easy to use!!!!  What more could one want?!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Red Glimmer
Stamps: Just Sayin'
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Word Bubbles Framelits, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!

Please head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and see the fabulous cards the design team has created for you!!!  You won't be disappointed!

Be my Valentine!

Hello!
Hope you had a great Monday!  My Monday was busy.  I felt sort of normal today so I think I took advantage of that and went a little overboard!  I did enjoy my morning work out though.  It felt good to get up and get moving!  I must say I'm a little tired now!

I can't believe how fast Valentine's Day is creeping up!  It will be here in no time!  Another exciting event starting tomorrow (Tuesday) is Stampin' Up's Sale-a-Bration!  I love this event!  For every $60 you spend from either the Occasions Catalogue or the Annual Catalogue, you can pick 1 item from the Sale-A-Bration flyer for FREE!!!!!  Who doesn't love free?!

The banner punch and stamp set on the above card are from the Sale-A-Bration flyer!  Who doesn't love a cute little punch and coordinating stamps?!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Red Glimmer Paper
Stamps: P.S. I Love You (sentiment), Banner Blast
Ink: Basic Black, Versamark
Other: Banner Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Basic Pearls, Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, Dimensionals

Pocketful of Valentine Love

Hello!
Hope you had a great weekend.  We had a really quiet weekend....I am still recovering from my flu and don't too much energy yet.  Caleb has a touch of bronchitis but seems to be recovering nicely.  Nothing a weekend at home couldn't help!

I got a few minutes in the workshop this weekend!  It was nice to get back working after several days of just not having the energy (or motivation!).

I loved the new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch!  I think I may have strayed a little too far from the sketch though!

I am really liking the white on white look.  It just seems so clean and well, I love clean!  I had a hard time making the hearts come out of the pocket properly....I tried.    I love making Valentine's....I just really need to remember to mail them!!!!  I'm the worst at making these cards, having them get lost on my disastrous desk and then finding them at Easter!!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Glimmer Red
Stamps: P.S I Love You
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Pocket Die (PTI), Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Heart to Heart Punch, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
I will hopefully be back again tomorrow with another card!!!

Have a fabulous day!!!

Valentine's Day

Hello!
I know some of you may be expecting a Freshly Made Sketches post but unfortunately with my flu/cold I didn't get down into the workshop yet so I didn't get my card done.  Today Jacob woke up sick (I think from eating a few too many tomatoes and orange peppers last night) so he was home with me.  We had a relaxing day of movie watching on the couch.  I'm sure hoping that when we wake up tomorrow we are all feeling better!

Today's card is made from an old sketch (a few weeks ago) over at Create with Connie and Mary.  I didn't get the card done in time to enter the challenge but I really liked the sketch and wanted to finish the card!

Valentine's Day will be upon us in no time and if I don't get some cards done I'm going to be in trouble!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Real Red, Whisper White
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, PS I Love You
Ink: Real Red, Stazon Black, Versamark
Other: Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Heart to Heart Punch, Full Heart Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, Basic Rhinestones, Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Clear Embossing Powder, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you have a fabulous day!

Seize that Valentine!

Hello!
Hope you had a great start to your week!  Today was a busy day here and I'm tired - which is a good thing!  Jacob and I had a good day together!  We got lots accomplished and even delivered some cupcakes and a caramel latte to a friend who was celebrating her birthday today (her card you'll get to see on Wednesday)!

No time in the craft room today....maybe after the kids get to bed!!!!  I made this card last week using the current sketch over at Seize the Sketch!  I love sketch challenges!!!!

I must apologize that the picture isn't totally clear.  My camera wouldn't focus for some reason.  I think it didn't quite know what to focus on!!!  I used the new "Language of Love" stamp set from SU!  I really like the heart and love that I can just punch it out!!!!

I had some old black glimmer paper that I had purchased who knows where that I wanted to use as well as the SU red glimmer.  I honestly have no idea where the background paper came from.  It was an old piece in my scrapbook stash.  I am trying to use up some old papers and it was the only Valentine's Day paper I had!!!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Red Glimmer, Black Glimmer (non-SU)
DSP:  Unknown - non SU
Stamps: Language of Love
Ink: Versamark
Other: White Embossing Powder, Full Heart Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Dimensionals

I hope you have a great day!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
