Valentine's Day
Hello!
I know some of you may be expecting a Freshly Made Sketches post but unfortunately with my flu/cold I didn't get down into the workshop yet so I didn't get my card done. Today Jacob woke up sick (I think from eating a few too many tomatoes and orange peppers last night) so he was home with me. We had a relaxing day of movie watching on the couch. I'm sure hoping that when we wake up tomorrow we are all feeling better!
Today's card is made from an old sketch (a few weeks ago) over at Create with Connie and Mary. I didn't get the card done in time to enter the challenge but I really liked the sketch and wanted to finish the card!
Valentine's Day will be upon us in no time and if I don't get some cards done I'm going to be in trouble!!!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Real Red, Whisper White
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, PS I Love You
Ink: Real Red, Stazon Black, Versamark
Other: Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Heart to Heart Punch, Full Heart Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, Basic Rhinestones, Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Clear Embossing Powder, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a fabulous day!

Deconstructed Sketch
Hello!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I attended a baby shower today for a friend's sister. She's having a little boy but she is very girly! I wanted to make her a card that was vintage and girly but still boyish. I have recently discovered The Deconstructed Sketch and wanted to play along this week!
I had ordered the soda pop tops a while ago and hadn't used them yet. Since this card wasn't going in the mail I wanted to give them a try! I decided to use the Tea for Two DSP since it fit my vintage/girly/boyish theme!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Island Indigo
DSP: Tea for Two
Stamps: Collage Curios, Itty Bitty Banners, Hearts a Flutter
Ink: So Saffron, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Crumb Cake
Other: 1" Circle Punch, Basic Pearls, Island Indigo Ribbon, Bitty Banners Framelits Dies, Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies, Soda Pop Tops, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great rest of your weekend!

Happy Tuesday! Wow! This week is already flying by. I had some errands to do this morning and then spent a few minutes finishing up this card! I don't usually get any time at all in my craft room on a Tuesday so to have a few minutes was wonderful!
I decided I wanted to play along with the Create with Connie and Mary challenge this week. I loved their sketch and really wanted to do another Valentine's Day card! I just hope someone reminds me to send them out this year!!!!

Love Wall Hanging
Hello!
Sorry about the lack of posts this week. We had company all weekend and I didn't step foot in my craft room! That being said up until a few minutes ago it was still neat and tidy!!!
I wanted to make a Valentine's Banner to hang in my kitchen (similar to the one I made for Fall). I love the new More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper and couldn't resist!!! I probably should have used the Raspberry Ripple Ribbon instead of the Very Vanilla for hanging it but I wanted something a little thicker (so it didn't fall apart). I used some of the stiffer white cardstock that comes in Stampin' Up paper packs at the backings for each of my squares. Just a little stiffer than regular Whisper White...
I had a blast putting all sorts of different hearts on the banner! I do love the new Hearts a Flutter bundle! I must say I am going to find ways to use this all year round!!! I used My Digital Studio to print out the letters and then hand cut them...there has to be an easier way!!!
Now to plan my Easter banner!!! Maybe Spring? Who knows? I'm open to ideas and suggestions!!!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Pool Party (Core'dinations), Primrose Petals (Core'dinations), Rich Razzleberry
DSP: More Amore Specialty
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Cross My Heart
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Versamark
Other: Hearts a Flutter Framelites, White Embossing Powder, Pool Party Embossing Powder, Fashionable Hearts Embosslit, Linen Thread, Basic Rhinestones, Sycamore Street Button, Pool Party Bakers Twine, Full Heart Punch, Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, Primrose Petals Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
I'll hopefully be back tomorrow!!!
Have a great day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #68
Hello all and Happy Wednesday!
I hope you're having a good week so far! Tuesday's are our big day here at the Brum house so I'm always thankful when they are over and we can enjoy the rest of the week. I feel like I may be coming down with a cold. I am really hoping it is just a cold and not that dreaded plague that's going around. We shall see...I've take more than a few Vitamin C today in hopes of scaring it away!
I also love Wednesday's because we have a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches! This week the talented Jen Mitchell brings us a fun sketch! I wanted to get another Valentine's Day card done since I usually end up scrambling at the last minute!
I do love pretty much everything in the new spring catalogue! I think this DSP fabulous and I am so excited to be able to create some valentines with it. I love the new Cross My Heart and Hearts a Flutter stamp sets. The corresponding Hearts a Flutter Framelits make life so easy peasy! Just too many thinks to love in that catalogue!
