Love Wall Hanging
Hello!
Sorry about the lack of posts this week. We had company all weekend and I didn't step foot in my craft room! That being said up until a few minutes ago it was still neat and tidy!!!
I wanted to make a Valentine's Banner to hang in my kitchen (similar to the one I made for Fall). I love the new More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper and couldn't resist!!! I probably should have used the Raspberry Ripple Ribbon instead of the Very Vanilla for hanging it but I wanted something a little thicker (so it didn't fall apart). I used some of the stiffer white cardstock that comes in Stampin' Up paper packs at the backings for each of my squares. Just a little stiffer than regular Whisper White...
I had a blast putting all sorts of different hearts on the banner! I do love the new Hearts a Flutter bundle! I must say I am going to find ways to use this all year round!!! I used My Digital Studio to print out the letters and then hand cut them...there has to be an easier way!!!
Now to plan my Easter banner!!! Maybe Spring? Who knows? I'm open to ideas and suggestions!!!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Pool Party (Core'dinations), Primrose Petals (Core'dinations), Rich Razzleberry
DSP: More Amore Specialty
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Cross My Heart
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Versamark
Other: Hearts a Flutter Framelites, White Embossing Powder, Pool Party Embossing Powder, Fashionable Hearts Embosslit, Linen Thread, Basic Rhinestones, Sycamore Street Button, Pool Party Bakers Twine, Full Heart Punch, Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, Primrose Petals Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
I'll hopefully be back tomorrow!!!
Have a great day!

Fall Banner
Hello!
The weekend is here! It's been a busy week here and I've had some card orders to fill along with trying to work on a few other things! My husband is in charge of a flying event this weekend so we will be spending a good chunk of tomorrow at the field...praying for decent weather!
Today's project is based on my Halloween one. I had seen some other fall ones on Pinterest that were sort of similar. I wanted to try my hand at one using the Orchard Harvest DSP and the Autumn Accents Die. I used MDS2 to create letters...I actually printed ones out, traced them and then cut these ones out. I used my home printer and I didn't like the colours I originally used (though the same as these colours they didn't turn out too well printed). I added a lot of texture since I LOVE texture! Threw in some buttons and some bling and voila! Now...you might be wondering why it's laying on my kitchen floor...the ribbon came undone and I seriously have had NO tine to come down to either re-glue it or stitch it.
The chipboard I used for the background, though not sold by SU came in a paper pack!!! I just cut it 4X4 with my trimmer and then used a template to round the corner since it wouldn't fit in my corner rounder.
Supplies:
Cardstock: More Mustard, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Lucky Limeade, Raspberry Ripple
DSP: Orchard Harvest
Other: Autumn Accents Die, Woodgrain, Perfect Polka Dot, Square Lattice, Argyle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Wood Buttons, Bronze Buttons, Basic Rhinestones, Early Espresso Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Sour Cream Treat Containers
Hello! The weekend is over. How does it fly by so quickly? This week will be a busy one. I have a routine follow up appointment at the cancer centre tomorrow morning. I have the privilege of taking Jacob with me! This should be interesting!!! He's not one for staying in one place for very long!
Today's card...well, it isn't a card! It's a "box"? Maybe a package! I have always wanted to try a sour cream container! I made this one for the SUO challenge! This week's challenge was to create a box or bag. I kinda think this is a little of both! I can't believe how super easy these little cuties are! Take a look at Heather Summer's video here and you'll be amazed! I crimped the ends for an added look. I wanted to use the Mixed Medley set since it was so cute for Halloween! I might just make these for Caleb's class this year!!! Though I had better get my act together!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Very Vanilla
DSP: Howlstooth and Scaringbone
Stamps: Mixed Medley
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black
Other: Silver Brad, 1 1/4" Scalloped Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle punch, Black Satin Ribbon
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Box of Love
Hello!
We've made it past hump day and we're rolling into Thursday! I'm excited! It's almost the end of the week!
I have just a quick little project today to share. I love mini pizza boxes. I think they're super cute for little note cards or even chocolate! With Valentine's Day just around the corner I thought I'd do one up as I'll probably drop a few off to some special friends!
This box is super easy to make. Mary Fish from Stampin' Pretty has a super easy video that explains exactly how to make this box. The box is just big enough to hold 3" X 3" notecards.
The sleeve is just there as a decorative touch and holds the box firmly closed! I do love the PS I Love You stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalogue. I think the chocolate covered strawberry is so delicious looking!
Now, before everyone wonders why I have Easter Eggs in my box...I love chocolate! I really do and therefore I usually don't keep it in the house because I'll eat it. However, I don't like Easter eggs and as you can tell, neither do my kids since I found these hiding in the pantry! I didn't want to buy my Valentine's Day candy too soon or it wouldn't make it to the 14th!
Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Real Red Glimmer
Stamps: P.S. I Love You
Ink: Real Red, Green Galore, Early Espresso
