Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #221
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week! If you are living along the Eastern Seaboard I hope you have dug yourself out of the crazy amounts of snow you have received. Much to the dismay of my boys, we have lost all the snow that we had. It rained all night on Monday and was above freezing so our snow is gone. I won't complain but the kids now have a very wet, muddy playground at school. My boys would definitely take snow over mud!
We have a great new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches today! Our hostess this week is the fabulous Karren Johnson! Karren is uber creative and I love her cards! You need to stop by her blog today and be amazed!
Strangely enough, I already had this card half created when I saw Karren's sketch! I am still using my MSTN Cute Critters stamps! I have posted a few cards on my Facebook page (that I haven't necessarily blogged). I coloured my little fox with my Zig Clear Colour Real Brush Markers. Oh how I love them! I could colour all day!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, More Mustard (Retired), Watercolour Paper (Canson)
Stamps: MSTN Cute Critters (My Favourite Things), Hey Foxy (Lil' Inkers)
Ink: Black Stazon
Other: Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, Cute Critters Die-namics, Stitched Rectangles (Lil' Inkers), Sequins (SU), Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping in today! I'm so glad you did!
Please head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the beautiful cards the Design Team has created for you!
Have a wonderful day!

Fusion Coffee!
Hello!
Happy Monday! I have a love/hate relationship with Monday's! I always love a new start to a week and feeling organized and ready to tackle what's coming. But then the alarm goes off early Monday morning and I no longer like Monday's!!! We did have a beautiful day here though. It was warm and the sun was shining and the snow is melting! We are expecting above zero temperatures which will hopefully melt a little more of that white stuff!
I had a few minutes on the weekend to get a couple of cards finished! That doesn't happen to often so I take advantage when I can! I saw the sketch at Fusion Card Challenge and decided that I wanted to tackle that massive circle!!!
I couldn't wait to use Caffeinated Cups and Be a Barista Set from Reverse Confetti! I do love coffee cups (but shockingly I don't like coffee!). I don't really like how I did the swirl on the cup but it's a learning process!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay
DSP: Cherry on Top (SU)
Stamps: Be a Barista, Caffeinated Cups
Ink: Stazon Black, Versamark
Other: Bermuda Bay Sequins, Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts, White Embossing Powder, Double Stitched Circle Dies (Lil' Inkers), Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a fabulous day!

CAS(E) This Sketch Poppies
Hello!
I don't often get a chance to do a blog post in-between my Freshly Made sketches posts! I saw the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge today and knew I had to play and new I wanted to use this new set I got from My Favourite Things!
I love poppies! I don't know why but I do! They're so pretty! I don't know if I've ever even seen a real one!!!! Oh, I've been informed that my mother grows them so I guess I have seen a real one! Just not a real red one!!!! I wanted to use traditional red. I love red, black and white together! I was going to use the die to cut the flowers out but also wanted to keep this card flat!
Supplies;
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: LJD Pretty Poppies (MFT)
Ink: Stazon Black, Real Red, Versamark
Other: White Embossing Powder, Sequins (SU)
Thanks so much for stopping in today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #220
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great start to your week! It's been a lot colder here this week than it has been. That being said, it's no where near as cold as it was last year so we'll take this. We finally have a bit of snow on the ground which makes the kids happy! Caleb loves to shovel so he's happy to be of assistance whenever we need him!!!
We have a brand new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! I am happy to be your hostess this week! I always find coming up with sketches tough. Of course I had to design a sketch with circles! They say you should face your fears right?! I designed this sketch with this stamp set in mind though!
I still love my Zig markers and can't stop using them! I just want to colour everything in sight! Unfortunately my 7 year old (who is writing utensil obsessed) feels that he should also have a right to use them so I kinda have to use them when he's not around! It's taking me a bit to get the hang of these markers and when to use a water brush and when to not use the brush! It's sure fun to play around with them.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Water Colour (Canson)
Stamps: Love Blooms (Reverse Confetti)
Ink: Stazon Black, Cucumber Crush
Other: Love Blooms Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti), Stitched Rectangles (Lil' Inkers), Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you get a chance to head over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for your viewing pleasure!
Have a wonderful day!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #218
Hello and Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday and enjoyed some time with their families. We had a lovely visit with my parents and with my husband's parents. My kids love being with their Grannie and Papa. They sure hate leaving! I do too! We didn't have a white Christmas but we did end up getting some snow before we came back home! The temperatures have returned to what they should be (much to my disgust!) but I see the long range forecast has some warmer weather in the future!
We are back in business at Freshly Made Sketches and the amazing Kim Singdahlsen has the first sketch of 2016! Kim makes such amazing cards! I would love to go and play in her craft room some time with all of her fun stamps!!! Head over to her blog to take a look at her beautiful cards!
I was blessed with some fun new stamps for Christmas! I may have also been blessed with some new Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers. I do believe I'm in love! I find Copics too challenging and I do love the look of watercolour! These markers do what I need them to and make such fun colours! Unfortunately the lighting did no cooperate with me for this photo and you can't truly see how fun these colours are!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Paper: Water colour paper (Canson)
Stamps: LJD Circle Scribbles (My Favourite Things), Awesome Blossom Stamps (Lil' Inkers)
Ink: Stazon
Other: Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, Dimensionals, Die-namics LJD Circle Scribbles, Basic Rhinestones, Watercolour Brush

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #217
Hello!
Happy Wednesday! Only a few more days until Christmas! Can you believe it?! Seriously, the days are whipping by! Jacob's Christmas concert is today at school! Last night at 8:15 he announced that he needs a Santa hat and sunglasses for said concert. We have one Santa hat in our house and it belongs to Jacob's older brother. Needless to say when I suggested he wear his older brother's hat, said older brother had a few things to say about that. Oh goodness. The fun never stops!
We have a brand new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches! Our amazing hostess this week is Linda Callahan! Linda makes such beautiful cards and I totally love her sense of humour! She keeps me laughing! You need to check out her blog as soon as you're done reading this!
I struggled a bit with this giant rectangle! I think it was mainly because I just didn't feel like using any of my stamps! Oh well! I decided to use my "In a Big Way" from Lil' Inkers instead! I kinda had a little accident with the stamp when I inked it and the "eat cake" portion didn't stamp right. Needless to say I opted to cover it with a banner rather than re-stamping it!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo
Stamps: In A Big Way (Lil' Inkers)
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Stitched Rectangles (Lil' Inkers), Double Banner Garland Die (Reverse Confetti), Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the beautiful cards the Design Team has created! You sure won't be disappointed! Please remember that we are now taking a break until January so you have until January 4th to enter our challenge! Our next new sketch will be coming your way on January 6th!
Have a great week and a Merry Christmas!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #216
Hello!
I hope you're having a great week! I think my Christmas shopping is almost done. My cards are in the mail and now I just need to wrap. I feel a little more ready this week than I did last week! We've been having some great weather here in Southern Ontario and it sure doesn't feel like Christmas is right around the corner. I think we are supposed to have double digit temperatures this weekend which is almost unheard of around here in December!
We have a great new sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Our fabulous hostess this week is the amazing Colour Artist Rita Wright! Rita can use a marker like no one else! She makes such adorable images! Her card this week is so cute!!! You need to check it out!
I knew I didn't want to make another Christmas card this week. I opted for a birthday card and shockingly this is not the first card I came up with. I think this is version 4 of the card. I'm not happy with this version either but I ran out of time and had to settle on this one!
I do love the paper from the Pretty Petals DSP Stack. I love the colours and the patterns. I think I've used this combo before....sorry!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Calypso Coral (though I think it may not be Calypso Coral!)
DSP: Pretty Petals DSP Stack
Stamps: Sentiment Flag Additions (Lil Inkers)
Ink: Stazon Black
Other: Stitched Rectangles, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Stitched Flag (Lil Inkers)
Thanks so much for stopping in today! Please take some time to head over to the Freshly Made Sketches Blog and check out the amazing cards the Design Team has created for you!
Have a fabulous day!
