Freshly Made Sketches #106
Happy Wednesday!
I can't believe it's Wednesday already! It's been a busy week so far and the boys are tired already and looking forward to the weekend! I haven't had much time in the craft room this week so far but Jacob is heading to his cooking class this afternoon so I should hopefully get a few minutes to crank out a card!
We have a brand new sketch today at Freshly Made Sketches! The fabulous Amy O'Neil brings us this week's super fun sketch! Head on over to her blog and check out all of the beautiful she creates!
So at first when I saw the circle I panicked. We all know how I feel about circles....right Jen Mitchell?!!!!
I decided to use some of the paper doilies that I've had sitting on my shelf for ages! I decided I would double them up and then wrinkle them a little! I hadn't paper pierced in a while so hauled out my templates and went to town!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Stamps: Papillion Potpourri, Elementary Elegance
Ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo
Other: Basic Rhinestones, Mini Butterfly Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Doilies, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy your day!
Head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog and check out the fabulous cards the Design Team has come up with for you this week!

Enchanted Elegance
Hi!
Another CASE'd card today! I wasn't able to get into my craft room today :(
I saw this card somewhere...I can't remember where now but the one I saw was digital. I decided to try it out with good ol' paper! I do love the digital projects but tend to save them for my scrapbooks!
Anyhow, I really enjoy the Elementary Elegance stamp set and you all know how I feel about the Everyday Enchantment paper! The Sale-A-Bration sale doesn't last forever so I highly recommend stocking up while you can!!!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
DSP: Everyday Enchantment
Stamps: Elementary Elegance
Ink: Early Espresso
Other: Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Everyday Enchantment Brads
Thanks for stopping by!

CAS-ual Fridays Sketch
Well, it's almost Monday (or maybe Monday by the time you're reading this). I don't know where the weekend went! We had a nice weekend as a family catching up on some missed time together and my husband catching up on some missed sleep!
I managed to sneak in a few minutes to try my hand at the CAS-ual Friday's sketch challenge. So the goal is to keep the card clean and simple (CAS). I normally would even keep the card as white as possible but decided to step out of my comfort zone a little and try out some melon mambo. I tried a different technique while embossing my cardstock. I used Versamark on my embossing folder before I put the cardstock in and ran it through the Big Shot. It usually leaves a fabulous texture on my cardstock but it didn't seem to work as well today :(
I tried out the new Elementary Elegance stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. I hadn't used it yet and I must say I do LOVE it! I actually made another card with it this weekend which I'll post mid-week!
Supplies:
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Stamps: Elementary Elegance
Ink: Basic Grey, Versamark
Other: Melon Mambo embossing powder, Basic Grey Taffeta Ribbon, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Curly Label Punch
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great week!
