Hello!
Happy Wednesday! Hope you're having a great start to your week! We are in desperate need of rain around here. The smoke moved in on Saturday from the various wildfires taking place across our country right now. Lots of northern cities are dealing with wildfires right now. It's such a hard time of the year.

That circle struck me as a sunflower so I pulled out the Lovely Layers Sunflower Honey Cuts by Honey Bee Stamps. I grabbed my Distress Oxides and coloured away. My woodgrain embossing folder was sitting out after last week's card so I decided to put it to good use again!

Thought I'd share a few pictures from last weekend's hike. The view from the top was incredible but the hike up and down left a little to be desired. We had great weather though the smoke has started to roll in. Fire season is starting early!
Have a wonderful day!
Jen
That flower is full of sunshine! So pretty! We have had so much rain this spring - can’t believe your fires are starting!
ReplyDeleteThe sunflower is the perfect answer to the circle! Love this sweet card. Those views really are spectacular and I'm pretty happy it is you that has to do the work to get those photos! ;-)
ReplyDeleteJen, that sunflower could be the star of any sketch or card - so beautiful! I'm loving that hardwood embossing more each time I see it! Do I need it? yes, I think so!
